I'd rather Katharine McPhee over Nicola Roberts, but Siobhan Dillon or Laura Pitt-Pulford would be the dream.

I don't think Siobhan Dillon is going to do it. On Rory O'Malleys podcast "Living the Dream" she acted like she is retired from musical theatre plus, she lives in Los Angeles working in the Yoga business.

She lives in the UK, she is doing pantomime in Cambridge this year, and did Company in Scotland with Oliver Savile earlier in the year so she will be available.  |

I could definitely see Suzie playing that role. There are so many talented West End actresses that it would be a real, real tragedy for them to stunt cast or bring someone over.

If it's going to be someone who has aleady played the role, I'd like to see Joanna Ampil.
But unless things have changed due to her vocal problems, I expect it to be Katharine McPhee.

Danielle is leaving or has left Rock of Ages - she was in it last week ( looking very good in not a lot) and has Palladium panto next month for 5 weeks so could possibly do Waitress but might she be a bit young.
Wish the casting would come out!

I've liked Danielle in everything I've seen her in so I wouldn't actually be too fussed if she got cast. Although I've never seen Waitress so don't really know how well she fits to the 3 main ladies.

Might stop people making assumptions about the kind of people who get abused. Now call me a weirdo conspiracy theorist, (I’m waiting!) but isn’t it convenient that the supertalented Siobhan Dillon is over here rehearsing the Lloyd Webber thing at The Other Palace, the day before the ‘Waitress’ casting is announced? I reckon that my earlier theory of a short run for the ‘celeb’ with a takeover & maybe the matinees going to Ms. Dillon. I would be made up.
