These photos were enough for me to book tickets for mid-Feb. Managed to get a good deal on trains and hotels. This is probably the closest proximity between Wicked shows for me, as I’m at the final show of the current cast next week. Very excited for both trips!

grabbed Feb half-term tickets on OLT with their New Years sale, 2nd row dress circle for £40 each
Thought the current cast were a bit plastic, so will be nice to be back seeing a new Elphie ..It’s insane to me that the rumour of Lucie joining properly started around 3 years ago :0
this cast could potentially be the strongest the show’s seen in a while ..

I'm sure I've said it before but this is the first time I've genuinely been interested in a new Wicked cast for a very long time. May finally make a return trip to the AV.

Most excited I've been for a Wicked cast since 2016!
Lucie looks...amazing, and it's going to be great to see Sophie Louise Dann and Gary Wilmot as MM and the Wizard. Oh, and Fiyero is a bit easy on the eye 😏

Same here on being tempted back. Last time I went was in 2015 and I said then I wasn’t bothered about seeing it again. But the combo of Lucie as Elphaba and SLD as Morrible has drawn me back in.

Same this is the first time in a long time that I’ve been wanting to see wicked again was going to wait till it toured again but that probs won’t be till after the film comes out also last time I saw it was with Alice and Sophie who were both brill. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks :-D

The new pictures have really got me going! I went recently for one of those £15 ticket deals and didn't expect to want to go again for a while. I also thought I wasn't bothered by cast changes anymore. Apparently I was wrong on all fronts!

Another one here who is excited to see the new cast. I last saw the show with Nikki Bentley before Laura Pick took over so it has been a while (although granted, the pandemic in the middle!), but Lucy looks great and I'm looking forward to seeing her in the role. I hope she sounds as good as she looks.

Lucie looks amazing! I bought a ticket for Tuesday night as soon as she was announced as Elphaba, now I'm even more excited. I've only once been to the first night of a new cast when I booked for Kerry's first night not knowing it was a cast change.

First time I've wanted to see Wicked in about a decade. Really positive and upbeat about this cast, a proper shake up and some quality casting has been needed for a long time.
I'm definitely seeing this new cast in a few months when the show won't be ruined by squealing super fans!
Has ensemble cast been announced? I hope they do a massive clear out and get a mix of fresh blood and quality experienced professionals in there now.

Almost everyone already loves this performer as shown with all the posts in previous pages, they already love the show - and they are paying to go to her very first performance. A performance full of screaming, cheering fans of the show/the performer who are specifically there to see her. It will be unanimous raves from every single person who posts, saying she is their new favourite and one of the best to have ever done it. It will be how the show is in amazing shape, how the atmosphere was electric and how they are rebooking to see it again, because she is just going to get better and better. It will have surpassed even their high expectations. The first "unofficial audio" clips will be on YouTube/Tumblr etc within an hour of curtain down. |
