And West End Elphabas have once in a while made it to the show on Broadway, maybe she is hoping for that too.

I bought my tickets directly with wicked and I think their ticket company is different to atg however I live nowhere near London so can’t go to the box office. Do you know if there’s a number I can call for the box office? I think the wicked official ticket partner is Ingresso so I’m assuming that means phoning atg wouldn’t work? I booked with Ingresso for reopening night, then later saw a better seat. They were able to change it for me and I just paid the difference. Hey, sorry to go back to this but were you able to request the specific seat you wanted to change to?

Saw Wicked last night for the first time since 2007 with Kerry Ellis, Nigel Planer and Suzie Blake.
To think the next I'd be seeing the show I'll be married, watching it with my wife and wearing face masks...
Still a great show. We were in the circle. Surprised that it was only about half full.

I caught a show on S4C (the Welsh Channel 4) this weekend featuring various Welsh West End performers called 'Miwsig fy Mywyd' (Music of my Life) and it included a lovely performance of 'For Good' (in Welsh) by outgoing Glinda Sophie Evans and incoming Elphaba Lucie Jones. A nice preview of Lucie's interpretation, just a shame they'll never actually meet on stage as they seemed to work really well together.
It's still up on S4C's catchup service (Clic) if anyone's curious.

I went to a Saturday matinee about 12 years ago that was only about half full in the stalls. The Apollo Victoria is a barn, they don't need to sell out. And the Circle is hideous for sound quality so a lot of repeat visitors don't ever sit there.

Not too long until Lucie takes over. Rehearsals must begin quite soon I’d imagine

She has been in to do a bit of blocking already. Went up in the lift etc..

…also exciting; the ex Elphaba who has been working as a software engineer in Chicago and was drafted in for Broadway after seven years. Respect.

I seem to remember in previous years they have done the photo shoot on the first or second day of rehearsals. I don’t think that is the case this year as Grace Chapman posted about meeting the new cast next week.
Still, it’s very exciting times for all the new cast members!

Apologies if this too off topic to bump the thread but does anyone remember what the recipe for the green drinks was that they serve in the upstairs bar at Wicked? I know it definitely started with Midori.
I took a load of pictures at the reopening night last year including the board where they listed them but alas, they are trapped in a dead phone...

Is it the Green Elixir cocktail you're thinking of? Think it's a shot of Midori, shot of Belvedere Vodka and Fever-tree Lemonade if so

Random, but now with last show being a Sunday matinee, the Cast won’t get a muck up matinee or a final night .
Anyway I’m curious to see what Lucie is like as Elphaba

Anyway I’m curious to see what Lucie is like as Elphaba I think other shows that have closed on a Sunday treated their last Saturday matinee as muck up matinee. And more time for the after show show party if you close on a matinee day! For people who’ve been to a cast’s first night before are they special? I have a ticket but it is currently near impossible for me to get home. I also have a ticket for end of March when they will be settled in. Wondering if I should abandon my cast change ticket?
