Nikki has removed everyone she doesn't follow on social media. I wish her well!! Obviously, something is very wrong at the moment.

A lot of people were tagging her in their well wishes on the main Wicked post, she must need space to breathe which I completely understand.

I hope Wicked do draft in a standby Elphaba for the remainder of the contract. It is such a big role, it's not fair to have that pressure fall on Laura!

Performers are people too and go onto social media for the same reasons we do i.e. to see what their friends and family are up to. The constant and repetitive messages from fans are, I'm sure, appreciated to some degree, but they can get to a point where they swamp everything else. We pay to watch them on stage for two and a half hours, the rest of the day is their own 👍

Just noticed there's 2 dayseats left for tonight's show, and the box office has released them to agencies for full price instead of the dayseat rate...

When I went in 2018 they were selling un-sold day seats for £70+ £70 is way too much for front row, on Saturday I got a day seat in person but I saw it online for £44 and it was the most outer seat which was quite restricted but I got to the theatre for 2:00 and bought it for the day seat rate.

They've also stared cracking down on audios posted on you tube, reminding of the pre show announcement and asking people to remove the recordings.
That's been a long time coming.

Audio recordings don't damage the show in any way as far as I'm concerned. So long as it does not interrupt the audience or the performers, have at it.

A quick search of YouTube that all recent and non-recent audios remains uploaded, are they seriously doing that?

Wicked is the most bootlegged show in the history of theatre, I don't think they started to care that much about copyrights 17 years later. Maybe it has something to do with the film...

They’re finally making a start on the long-awaited film? I wonder how many more push backs on release date we’ll have before we actually get to see it.

Apparently they've been working on it but they are really taking their time, which I don't mind as long as it means that we won't get another Cats.

Clearly you don't understand the concept of copyright then... Lol How mature. Whether something is legal or not isn't a laughing matter to me, but it's your prerogative if you want to so blatantly ignore it...

The baker's right is to whom she sells her products. "Ashers bakery likes this. 👍" 😜

Polite reminder, once again, that the key theme on this forum is respect.
Further polite reminder that we do take copyright seriously. You would not walk into a baker's shop, pick up a loaf the baker has taken time to craft, and walk out without paying for it. The baker's right is to whom she sells her products.
Exactly the same applies to those who took the time to write, compose, create and perform. They are entitled to decide how the product they produce is distributed, and to be paid for it. Well said!

It doesn't really matter what any of us think about Wicked saying don't record the show.
The important thing is they have said don't record the show.
Their show. Their rules.

I’m just dayseating for tonight’s show now. First time seeing the show since Alice and Sophie left and I’m looking forward to it.
