I’m back at the show for the first time in over a year on Wednesday, the longest break I’ve ever had from Wicked since first seeing it. I haven’t actually seen the West End production since seeing Willemijn around Easter 2017 so I think I’ll feel like Norma Desmond returning to Paramount on my way into the Apollo Vic! I especially hope that Nikki and Alistair are on but preparing myself that Nikki might not be, just hope she’s looking after herself. I got Row ZB stalls for £29 on an agent deal, a better deal than todaytix Cyber Monday, which offered me one row in front for £5 more. Are there binoculars for rent in the rear stalls? I know there are in the circle but I forget stalls-wise?

I know she, Helen and Alistair were due to do a meet and greet and turn on the Christmas lights at the theatre cafe round about now.

Don’t think Elena will do it this year as she’s currently in We Will Rock You which also ends July 18th, and I can’t see her touring and rehearsing for the next show at the same time. Did not realise that was the last day of WWRY - I'm at the matinee that day! As it currently stands, it is the final day of the tour, but they keep adding new dates so it's a hard one to judge. But one cast member did tell me their contracts ran until July 2020 so I guess it's likely.

Has Nikki been on for the last few shows? She seems to be doing much better, which I am glad to see!

I got Row ZB stalls for £29 on an agent deal I’ve sat in row ZB a few times and it offers a really great view! You can’t see the dragon and are too far away for facial expressions but overall you have a great view!

Laura on this afternoon, really do feel for Nikki. Haven’t seen Laura before though so interested to see what she’ll bring to the role.

NEWS- Stage Entertainment Germany is developing a new European production of Wicked, directed by Lindsay Posner, to be premiered in October 2020 in Hamburg. The production will feature new designs and is likely to be exported to Madrid in 2021, after Tina runs for a season in the Teatro Coliseum. Not the first time Stage Entertainment, leading producer o musicals in most of Europe, develops its own production of a show, for example Glenn Casale’s Disney’s Beauty and The Beast. casting.stage-entertainment.de/wicked.html

Helena Bonham Carter was at the show tonight. She seems to be doing the rounds in the West End, what with her being at Dear Evan Hansen the other night.

Perhaps she’s up for a stint as Morrible!

Can't understand why they gave it a release date before anything had been started.

"We said it was coming to the big screen. We said it would be in theaters on 20th December 2019. You may have assumed those statements were related and we meant movie theaters, but that's not what we actually said. Also, it says The Untold Story, and we're not telling it. What part of this are you not getting?"

I personally hope they leave the film for as long as possible! I really can’t see a film version being able to capture the magic of the show.

Has anyone seen the show recently? What were your thoughts on the current cast?

Has anyone seen the show recently? What were your thoughts on the current cast? I saw it recently and really enjoyed this cast. Nikki Bentley was great in the role and had an excellent voice. Helen Woolf got a lot of laughs out of a Tuesday evening audience (I was sat near the from other the circle so can’t speak for the stalls but I’d say the circle was approx 70% full), Alistair Brammer was a handsome Fiyero and it was wonderful to see George Ure again, his Scottish accent really suits the role.

Since Innuendo & Outuendo doesn't seem to be making a return anytime soon, I thought I would post information here.
Laura Pick was on as Elphaba for both shows on Friday (3rd January, 2020) and both shows Saturday (4th January, 2020). Laura is also on as Elphaba tonight (7th January, 2020).
Lisa-Anne Wood is scheduled on as Glinda all week (6th-11th January, 2020).

I’m worried about Nikki. Laura seems to be on very often.

Perhaps we could have an understudy/alternate section on the board so that (like the various understudy twitter sites) this info could all be in one place?

I agree, I would be happy to have an additional page on the site for understudy/cover information.
For both shows today Laura Pick is on as Elphaba and Kerry Enright is on as Madame Morrible (11th January, 2020).
