Saw this tonight on a TodayTix Daily Dozen ticket. Got B37 in the circle and was really disappointed with the sound. Definitely would only go back if it was in the stalls, as I felt so far away from the action which you wouldn’t really expect from second row of the circle.

Definitely would only go back if it was in the stalls, as I felt so far away from the action which you wouldn’t really expect from second row of the circle. I definitely felt this way the last few times I sat in the circle. Because it’s just such a vast space it must make sound design nigh on impossible!

The Broadway production has cast Alexandra Billings, a openly transgendered actress, as Mademe Morrible starting January 20, 2020. I know it’s off topic from the West End production but I felt that I should share the news. Alexandra Billings Joins Wicked

Looking at the £25 offer on todaytix and it’s offering me D44 Circle, what’s the sound like there?

Looking at the £25 offer on todaytix and it’s offering me D44 Circle, what’s the sound like there? The front of the circle can be a bit of a black hole, sound-wise. But that’s not a deal I would miss for £25!

I might go for the stalls then but they are at the back I think row X, Do you think these would be better?

Yes - the view is pretty clear anywhere in the back stalls and the sound is so much better down there.

could anyone explain this to me? There's a Wicked fan who enjoys making videos, most of which include a lot of hate towards certain performers, claiming they're just her opinions and she doesn't mean them in a horrid way. Ben made a tweet about the videos the other day and then in her latest video she referenced the tweet.

I think Mariand Torres has had an incredible run as lead Elphaba on the tour. She has the most beautiful expressionate voice and does some wonderful riffs and runs. I think she deserves a run as the next Broadway lead!

That seems like a decent performance for such a huge theatre - be interested to hear others views!

Nick McLean is the new Boq from January!!! He used to be at Wicked Day with me back in the early years and always claimed he was going to be the first black male Elphaba. Well he has nearly managed it lol. Good for him!! I’ll be going along to support!!

Any news on another tour ? Not yet I'm afraid. Somebody mentioned there was one planned for 2022 but I'm unsure if that's true. It would certainly be scaled down if so, as they kept advertising the previous tour as the "final" time of that production in any city.

Rebecca Botterill is to make her Elphaba debut today! And what a debut it is! She’s fantastic!! 🤩 Sang DG like she was singing for her life. If I had to compare her to anyone, she reminds me of a younger Alice Fearn. Audience is on fire, too - spotted some ex-cast members taking their seats (including Sophie Evans...I think!) Lots of cheering and applause in the right places - totally and utterly deserved!!

I’m not very in tune with the comings and goings of Wicked, though I do love the show and returning next Saturday afternoon.
Are the two leads scheduled to perform at every show or is there a schedule for matinees? Thanks in advance.

I notice Helen seems to call out a lot. Lisa usually seems to be on as Glinda.
