I just wondered because she’s rarely on as Glinda, and Sophie Evans took a photo with Lisa Anne Wood last night and put ‘old lead with new’ or something similar... Just seems strange a Glinda is off so often, it’s usually Elphaba!

Just seems strange a Glinda is off so often, it’s usually Elphaba! What Sophie posted was "Old an New What a Beaut", so nothing about a lead change. I guess she was there because of Bex as so many where and just took a picture with new (for her) Glinda.

I notice Helen seems to call out a lot. Lisa usually seems to be on as Glinda. Well Helen is sick, that's why Lisa is on.

Constantly sick? This cast aren’t doing well!

Constantly sick? This cast aren’t doing well! Because Helen is sick they're all not doing well? 🤔 I think they're pretty great!

I think this whole cast is a bit meh and the show just seems to be plodding through with no excitement or buzz.
Roll on next cast change.
Just my opinion.

I feel like I've heard so little about this cast compared to previous ones. Nikki doesn't seem to be on social media much which may be part of the reason.

I'm not sure if that's really a reason, but rather that the current cast is made up of people that most Wicked fans have already seen and have commented on. If new people were in the show there would be more to chat about! 🤷🏻♀️

There just doesn’t seem to be any buzz or excitement. Even YouTube is slow of audios and they’ve been consistent for the past few casts!

Maybe going by how often performers are on social media and how often someone uploads (technically illegal) stuff on youtube isn't the most accurate way to judge how well a show is doing?

I haven't really been keeping up with Wicked a whole lot since the tour closed. In fact, I only just now found our Rebecca made her debut the other day! It seems so strange to me considering I used to check social media every hour for Wicked related news only a few years ago.
I think the lack of hype just comes from so many of the member on this forum being long standing fans of the show - it's hard to get excited when only a few leads change every two to three years. While I think Nikki and Helen certainly deserved their chance to lead this show on the west end, it would be nice for new faces to come in and shake things up a little bit.
Talia Suskauer (spelling?) from the US National Tour sounds amazing and she is definitely making me excited to hear the score being sung again!

I really, really want Elena Skye to play Elphaba in a few years. I have seen her as Eponine and Scaramouche, and I believe that she is more than capable of holding her own in this role.

Some completely new blood would be great. They’ve done it in America and it’s worked so well, no riffing and just new powerful voices. Let’s hope London follows suit.

I feel like I've heard so little about this cast compared to previous ones. Nikki doesn't seem to be on social media much which may be part of the reason. I think that's a very good point and Helen is rarely on at all too. I think the engagement (perhaps over engagement in some cases) on social media by some of the previous cast members cast definitely fuelled more repeat visits and more talk (because fans wanted tagged performers to see their posts and interact with them) There are few Helen fan pages. This won't be because of lack of talent by any means but more that she just doesn't engage online that much with fans so the fan pages won't get attention from her. So they don't bother. To be clear, I'm not saying her not engaging is a bad thing, far from it. It's her job when she is actually on stage, it's not her job to engage with fans 24/7 online.

I'm going some point next year. Excited to see Nick as Boq, and Kim back as Morrible as she is my favourite actress to have played that role. I'm hoping Natasha will still be around by then as I've never seen her before.
I am hoping to see Laura as Elphaba and Lisa as Glinda, as I saw the leads on the previous tour and I honestly just want to see new people in these roles.

I’m only really interested in seeing Laura and Lisa - but seems like we’ll be fine seeing them if recent performances have been anything to go by!

Went on Saturday matinee- first time I've seen it in a while and adored it. Got to dayseat queue about 9am and there was maybe 40 people already in front of me, we got the last two they had.
Laura and Lisa were both on and clearly adored being on together!! Thought Natasha was a great Nessa and agree with people saying Alistair acts Fiyero as a naughty school kid, loved him.
Basically, thought it was a great show and even for a matinee it was pretty full and great audience reaction (even if some of the humour still does fall a bit flat)

Trying to surprise a friend with tickets to the show but want decent seats without paying a huge amount next Wednesday. Thoughts and tips for day seats or just focus on Daily Dozen. Id prefer for us to sit in the stalls as everyone here says that it is a better viewing. THANKS !!!

If you are dayseating, make sure to get there early. My friends and I usually aim to get there for about 7am in order to ensure we have central seats, but I suppose the latest you could get to Victoria is 9am for the side blocks.
