I don't dayseat. Mainly as I live in Scotland and have to plan ahead, but even if I lived closer I would just never bother with it. It requires energy which I don't have.

Will they still use the posters with Alice and Sophie after they have gone?

Will they still use the posters with Alice and Sophie after they have gone? I would imagine so. They really have spent a lot of money on this cast when it comes to promo. Or maybe they'll just start a new campaign with Nikki and Helen?

They were for a campaign a while back and I'm not sure many of them are still up around London. I've certainly not seen any for a while.

The only ones of note I've seen recently were the "Good, Wicked, Wicked, Good" ones at the exit to Victoria station outside the theatre.
Then there are still a few "Are people born Wicked?" ones dotted around the tube.

I still see them every now and then. They aren't promoting a particular actor so no reason why they can't use them really.

A top price of £202 for Saturday night...
I just looked on the Apollo Victoria website and the cheapest ticket is £35, and that's the back row of the rear circle. The prices really are getting ridiculous.

How can anyone afford those prices
Dayseats on Saturday, one ticket per person per show

Yes the dayseats and today tix daily allocation are under thirty quid but those are only good for locals or those prepared to chance it.
Those travelling a long way generally want to buy their tickets in advance so these tickets are no good for them.
If the tickets were priced as they are now when I started going to Wicked I probably would not have gone. I certainly would not have gone back time and time again.

Wonder what the atmosphere will be like tomorrow evening.
How long have Alice and Sophie been in Wicked ?

Fans are apparently coming from around the world to see the show.
Alice has been in it 3 years - 1 year as standby and 2 years as lead, and Sophie went straight into being lead, and has been for 2 years.

The atmosphere will be great, as it always is at every cast change.

I'm really hoping Saturday will be a very special evening. Alice Fearn is a truly incredible vocalist and has been at Wicked for a long time now and I will certainly miss her when she leaves, although I'm excited to see Nicki.
I hoping for some amazing riffs!

Is anyone else going on Saturday? I will be there for the evening performance - very excited! I haven't been since the cast change matinee last year!!

I haven’t been for so long I can’t even remember who Elphaba was. It was the cast change show before Alice & Sophie took over ?

That would've been Willemijn Verkaik and Suzie Mathers.

Is that woman with the clipboard still presiding over the dayseat queue or has even she come to her senses and hacked it off?

Stop it. You're making me want to day seat on Saturday. Has the queue started yet No idea I’ve just checked my ‘queue-cam’ app, and there are 3 people and a dachshund currently in the Saturday line at the Apollo Vic (although the dog has the wrong theatre and thinks he’s there for ‘Billy Elliot’...keeps asking if Tom Holland is on whilst rutting against a lamppost). Of the three people there, one has a ‘Grimmerie’ themed scrapbook under her arm covered in black netting and talc, and bursts into tears every seven minutes. The other two are a couple from Barnsley, He has a microwave under his arm and she has made Nutella topped flapjacks for the cast. Lets hope that there are no allergies.

Nobody waiting with a microwave most disappointing

Without sounding really daft, if I get to Victoria really early on Saturday is the box office open during the matinee to collect tickets for the evening? I normally print them out myself but wanted a proper ticket this time!

That brings me back to the days of Rachel and Louise when they both had that breed of dog and frequently brought them to work. There was lots of dog fangirling and dog related gifts that year!
