Theatre owners would be queuing up to get this as their Christmas show, the WMC will be in line certainly with Edinburgh, Festival; Manchester, Palace; Dublin, Bord Gras and. Birmingham, Alexander. Manchester normally get the pick of Christmas shows, as it is the second biggest city and surrounded by big cities as well. The Phoenix theatre in London is operated in by ATG as is the Palace theatre in Manchester. So if you were going to ask me to hedge by bets. Only a better or bigger show would be stop this playing Manchester, such as Wicked, The Lion King or Phantom. Things are so much in the air at the moment. Manchester has a booking for next Xmas.

Thrilled it is coming “back”, but slightly disappointed we aren’t getting it “back back”. If a show like Jamie can reopen then why can’t this? Surely it’s the same cost to run as the full show?
Atleast this will hopefully allow the cast to be fully rehearsed and ready for when the full show will hopefully reopen.

Anyone know what time ticket sales start tomorrow? I have every intention of being there on the 10th!

Bit rude and uncalled for. You were being unnecessarily obtuse. Hinting about being in the know but not expressly saying so is infuriating, it comes across as you lording it over the common folk who don't have any leads I'm afraid. Either give the gossip or don't, that is your choice, but vague hints aren't helpful. Plus it is effectively reopening so I'm not sure what you intended to get from your posts anyway.

By fully distancing they probably negate the need to test so frequently, and possibly also can reduce the amount of backstage staff required.

No single tickets at all from what I can see - caved and bought a pair. Doubt I'll bring anyone with me, as my friends I'd normally take are not in my bubble, and the friend who is hates musicals, so the extra will just have to be written off as a donation. I wasn't missing this.
(Of course I suspect London might Tier 3 us out of this, but for now - happy!)

There are no single seats at all from what I can see, and most of the pairs are either premiums or at the very back/top of the auditorium. I’ve just had to pay £150 for a bubble of three for the first night that might end up being occupied only by me, as it was cheaper than a pair of premiums and I have claustrophobia and vertigo issues so can’t sit under the overhang or right at the top.

I just looked at the official website and it says at the top of the page distanced seating for groups of 1-4 but further down the page it says we have distanced seating into groups of two to six. So that's a bit of a contridiction

Yeah I eventually spotted one single seat, it was right in the back corner of the stalls. Looks like it's groups of 2+ only, in effect.
On the plus side, my tickets come with mini bottles of Moet so I'll be drinking both of those...

Indeed - for anyone wanting a single seat - it looks as though the only one is stalls Q28 @ £60.

4 singles currently showing for 10 February, all back row of the Stalls. Maybe they've changed the arrangement?

CFA had this response on Twitter to someone bemoaning the lack of single seats... "We're trying to include as many singles as possible. Please bear with us and check back after midday."
Both ATG members and people with COVID-cancelled bookings have priority booking until then.

Got straight in when general sales opened with no queue and there were several single seats at both the front and the back of the stalls for the first Saturday evening. I didn't check the other levels.
Now I just have to hope there is something else open so I can combine it with a Saturday matinee.

Got held up on a work call so couldn't book at 12 but just grabbed what appears to be the last single for the first performance. Grand Circle so they appear to have added a few more singles.
If there had been a single standing ticket left for the last performance I might have booked that too but one show will do for now. I think the lack of advance publicity has helped availability for this today!
