Curiously, while you can buy tickets until June, the main page says it's until 17th October. It’ll be on sale to groups/ATG cardholders until October.
So can non-cardholders not book past June until October? Really wanting to see this in August but have no clue when/if I'll be able to book.

I imagine they just haven’t released the next bafch of tickets for general sale yet,

This now appears to be booking until 13th February 2021.
Unlike other ATG venues which are, currently, scheduled to return on 27th April, this isn't scheduled to recommence until 1st June.
When theatre is finally back, I can see this show doing extremely well again. It's message is very 'now'.

Has anyone read the accompanying book? I was thinking of buying it and having a little read during our lockdown.

My guess is that it's far easier right now to have tickets off sale until then, in case theatres are still closed come June. Otherwise, it's a whole load more customers to have to deal with in terms of refunding and, perhaps, disappointing.

Possibly an announcement with a planned reopening date coming Friday?
This does seem like one of the more viable shows to reopen socially distanced with the relatively small cast and (I assume) not too high running costs. It’s definitely an uplifting show that’s very relevant to the word we’re living in today also.

They will reportedly be announcing reopening plans with distancing. They may also announce the UK tour that was in the works pre-pandemic

Gah, I really want to be at reopening and now going to be on edge as I think tickets will go quickly. Even did some clicking about on the ticket bookings to see if any night was suspiciously well booked or had the new plan in, but no joy.

Don’t think it’s a reopening announcement.

Theatre owners would be queuing up to get this as their Christmas show, the WMC will be in line certainly with Edinburgh, Festival; Manchester, Palace; Dublin, Bord Gras and. Birmingham, Alexander.
Manchester normally get the pick of Christmas shows, as it is the second biggest city and surrounded by big cities as well. The Phoenix theatre in London is operated in by ATG as is the Palace theatre in Manchester. So if you were going to ask me to hedge by bets.
Only a better or bigger show would be stop this playing Manchester, such as Wicked, The Lion King or Phantom. Things are so much in the air at the moment.

Read into this what you will, but shows from mid-January to the beginning of March are now off sale. Beyond that it shows the normal seating plan.
Opening in January with that time period blocked to be socially distanced seats maybe? Rehearsing then and reopening in March?
For myself, I'm hoping for the latter, but that's out of selfish convenience!

I don't see March as being realistic for non-socially distanced seating and so would hope it might reopen in January with distanced seating. However, that doesn't give much lead time for sales really.

It doesn't, and I don't see the cast needing all that time to rehearse. But then maybe with fewer seats they wouldn't be concerned about sales anyway.
I should really stop guessing and just wait for the announcement tomorrow!

ATG announced yesterday it was postponing all of its shows until at least March so I wouldn’t look into tickets being taken off sale until then too seriously
