Age-wise, any recommendations? Wondering if this is suitable for a four year old? I sent my Australian husband to see a panto last year (Jack and the Beanstalk at the Shaw Theatre), his first one, and he was not impressed. Neither was the then three year old, who said it was not as good as the Lion King or Aladdin!! I figure I have one more shot to get them to appreciate panto. I have seen the last two productions and I personally wouldn't bring a 4 year old to it. Its very expensive, it has a much longer running time than other pantos, there is very little audience interaction which kids expect at a panto and the script is aimed mainly at adults. Try Wimbledon which is more of a traditional panto. That's just my thoughts others may disagree. |

Is Wimbelton or Richmond a better panto if i feel Palladium is too expensive?

Is Wimbelton or Richmond a better panto if i feel Palladium is too expensive? I'd expect Wimbledon to be the bigger production, but probably both good. Maybe make a decision based on the casting? |

Wimbledon should have the flying magic carpet which does a 360 degree roll whilst flying over the front stalls , if previous Qdos Aladdins are anything to go by. |

You'd be best trying them out at your local small venue panto as, let's be honest, no four year old will have a clue who any of this expensive cast are. We become impressed (if that really is the word) with such things when we are older but a child will get as much joy from their local panto than this one, if not more so! |

The show is all innuendo for adults. Is there a puppet? Yes, but Paul Zs routines are not to entertain children. The rest would be Julian Clary with double entendre jokes that go over the children's (and some adults) heads. It goes very long about 2 hours 40 minutes and decent seats are usually 77 pounds. Even for the sometimes lower prices on certain family Sundays I would not recommend it for a 4 year old. As someoneelse said find a panto you like, check the cast and go see it. You will probaby like it more. |

Got Row A side stalls 5+6 for £55...I know the stage is high, but Ive sat in the same seats before for a few shows but it never really bothered me.
Got in the queue pretty much straight away, and it only took 3 minutes.

For me, I feel that stage height isn't an issue at all for this @james92. I always sit front row without noticing any problem. Over the last two years, I noticed that the reason they discount the ends of A is the false proscenium losing a bit of the back corner of the stage, and sometimes blocking that puts actors in front of you. Those are a total bargain, on the "low numbers" side (the high numbers, you could get picked on...). You must have been as quick as I was getting online, LOL. 10 minutes more, you would have had fun  . Yeah I guessed for £55 there would be a bit of a restricted view compared to the price just across the aisle, but Im not too worried about that. Nearly missed my place in the queue though...was sitting in the dentist waiting room when I got the email, and was called in as soon as I got through the queue...luckily they save your place for 10 minutes, just enough time to be numbed up and sent back to the waiting room to finish the purchase haha |

Had a panic about being a target for Zerdin after getting some Row A tickets, but thankfully I'm low numbers side, Monkey! To be honest I thought prices would be worse - back of stalls is not an option that should be counted out entirely, and upper circle (though I've never sat there myself) doesn't seem too overpriced either. Naturally dress/royal circle remains untouchable.

Naturally dress/royal circle remains untouchable. I sat in back row of stalls a few weeks ago for Jason Robert Brown and was pleasantly surprised how good the view was. It seemed as if the row was raked more than the rows in front so could see everything. Leg room not fantastic but better than upper circle which is awful. |

Monkey - For Snow White, would you recommend front row center section A 18? Or do you think A 16 is better?
Or would you choose G 35 or O 34? You are truly my Seating godmother (oops..wrong panto!)

Just got a chance to look at the priority booking for this. Wow this has sold well already. Either the new casting is drawing people in or word of mouth has spread.

Perhaps there are other bookers like me that got a last minute Dick Whittington ticket for a January performance and was so impressed that I’ve booked well in advance for a premium date for SW and am bringing all my family!

The website says further casting to be announced. Am I right in saying Snow White and The Prince are the only characters left to cast or do Qdos add other characters. I have seen a number of Snow White productions that add a Woodsman character (Henchman to the Wicked Queen)

Qdos wouldn’t put tickets on sale for those prices if they thought some wouldn’t pay those prices. I spent over a grand seeing 5 shows in New York last year. I think that's nonsense. No one EXPECTS to pay an average of $200 per ticket. you chose to spend that, it doesn't mean you have to spend that much, when cheaper tickets are available. |

Got my tickets on the presale as only had one option a matinee as in London for Hamilton and Company. I assume Snow White and the Prince will be vocalists as so far only Gary Wilmot sings.

Tickets are really shifting aren't they? I was unable to get in on the priority link until this evening for some reason and couldn't get exactly what I wanted, though did manage pretty close.
Gary Wilmot could do the London theatres this year maybe? And crisps instead of chocolate?
