Anyone else having a did of a time getting tickets to previews? Not sure if my payment went through properly and haven't had confirmation I've had the very same issue! When I hit the confirm button, the only thing I got was a blank page... I logged into my Old Vic account again and the tickets I bought are coming up as my latest purchase and the show also comes up as an 'upcoming event', so I'm taking that to mean that the payment did go through. It's not very reassuring, though, so I'm looking forward to receiving a proper confirmation e-mail. And I'd also be glad to be reassured that they didn't take my money twice!

Me too, it wouldn't accept my first card then seemed to take my second but didn't show usual confirmation screen, my account says I bought a ticket but no confirmation email and since I said i'd collect not too helpful. Glad it's not just me, lines all full so can't get a verbal confirmation, have fired off an email.

Seat selection is an absolutely clunky.
£10 tickets seemed to be available all over the stalls. Yet you have to select one, go to the bottom to put them in the basket, and wait and see if the website will allow that once it catches up with whether someone else has selected it, which is 9/10 likely.

Have just received my confirmation email and a response to my email saying they've resent it so perhaps all drops them an email. Phew. Thanks for raising on here, meant I was bit less panicked.

Only had one day that I could go but after 30 minutes of getting the same message about one of your tickets is no longer available - I gave up. This had to be the most clunky website ever!

Top tips for next time -
1. Go to the website before 12 and avoid the queue 2. If you're getting problems adding tickets to your basket, "select best available" works

2. If you're getting problems adding tickets to your basket, "select best available" works Where was that? I tried finding that option and couldn't find it

When you select a performance, it's at the top of the "select your preferred seating area" page with the photo of the auditorium. Due to a bit of crap design you can't select this option once you've selected an area and get to the seating plan page, so you have to go back (which takes you to the date listing) and select the performance again. Also worth noting I was offered worse seats by "best available" than were available on the seating plan. So I ended up having a row W seat in my basket from "best available" then ditching that when I managed to get a seat from the seating plan

I have yet to try the Old Vic system, but from my experience of Royal Court and Jamie Lloyd Mondays, you might find it useful to not go for the best-looking seat. A few people might be after it at the same time, whereas if you're going for one a few rows back or much further over to the side, there's likely to be less immediate competition.

Yep, got my confirmation email and a response, too. Perhaps their system had just been inundated and so they couldn't materially keep up... it's good to know that everything worked and they were kind to write back promptly.

System was a complete joke today. I bought my ticket for Ibsen within 5 minutes, having stood in the long and slow queue outside the theatre for 10 minutes prior to thinking "Stuff this, I'll pay the booking fee."
Today, trying to book online from noon, it took me an hour and the seat I did get isn't much to shout about.
Think they've terrified people so much with their dynamic pricing that PWC sales have gone crazy?

I used my iPad and iPhone, iPad I had 2 screens open and was around 300th in queue, on my iPhone I didn't have to queue at all! Hopefully I have tickets for the 29th but who knows

I didn't even remember to check until 12:30, then reused I wasn't sure if my friend would come, ended up holding 2 tickets for us in basket hoping she would confirm, basket timed out and I lot ghem to someone else. Ended up with a restricted view single in the dress circle to the first preview, as it's the only preview I can make.
Must be more organised next time!

I paid the full whack for a stalls seat when the tickets first went on sale, I'm going to see it on the first night (the Easter Saturday) - after getting a cheap ticket for Future Conditional I couldn't be bothered with a repeat of the whole rigmarole again for something I really wanted to see, so bit the bullet and just booked. Congratulations if you've got a cheap seat, hope you have a decent view and aren't sat next to someone who is only there because its a cheap seat and sits there texting/talking/fidgeting/scoffing/moaning through the whole play.

I must admit I did partly buy it because it was cheap but I shan't be doing any of those things! Had the same problem as others with blank screen on payment but very swiftly sorted out by Box Office, once again actual people triumph over technology Also booked for 31st so will play 'spot the board member'.

Also booked for 31st so will play 'spot the board member'. Me too, presumably we will be the ones scowling at the noisy, moaning people next to us?!

Some (very brief) interviews up on the Old Vic's Facebook page: 'I hope, if you come and see it, you have a good time' - so does everyone else who's bought a ticket

First performance (26th March) cancelled due to 'a scheduling issue' Yes - I just had a phone call about that too. Well, rather a voicemail, I'll have to call up and see if they offer to exchange performances (that'll be interesting with the £10 rate). According to the website - the first performance is now 29th March.

Went to the Old Vic box office last night (was there anyway, seeing The Master Builder) and they changed mine no problems for the show on 16th April, but I had a standard stalls seat not sure how they'll handle people with preview tickets, but good luck all the same.....
