I really liked this at MCF and I'm delighted it's getting another outing.
Well done to the theatre for having two musicals in Wendy's End. Hopefully they will both raise lots of dosh so the MCF can again stage some bold musicals

This is good news. I thoroughly enjoyed it at the Menier and it deserves a west end run.

I saw this at the Curve and wouldn't mind seeing it again, but having just looked at the prices (it's on sale to Theatrecard members), I'll wait for the inevitable sale.

Yass, this is great! I missed it last time and they are my favourite series of books. I've read the first two loads of times.

I wouldn't mind seeing this, I've never been to the Ambassadors and it would be nice to tick it off. Could use some casting information though...

The deeeeeeelicious John Hopkins was in the Menier production when I saw it so hopefully he'll come back.

I remember The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole at Wyndhams. I enjoyed it very much.

Slightly off topic but wasn't this theatre going to be renamed The Sondheim theatre? What happened?

Slightly off topic but wasn't this theatre going to be renamed The Sondheim theatre? What happened? I don't really know what happened there, but ATG own the theatre now (naturally, as they should), and I believe they are doing refurb work as and when they can rather than all at once.

I'm seeing plenty of £15 - £39.50 seats in the stalls for weekday performances during the first few weeks of the show; presumably previews. In the "personal enjoyment rating" score I give every show, I awarded this a 7 at Curve and a 9 at Menier so I've booked a row B seat already and hoping for a perfect 10 !

For some reason, reading that Amy Ellen Richardson will be in the cast has suddenly made me much more interested in seeing this.

Glad to see Lara and John back as they were great. Though i'd have also loved to see Amy Booth Steele come back to play Lara's role too as she was great in the original Curve run. John Hopkins was hysterical.

Starting a new thread as I didn't see one created.
Right now it says it's a limited season through October. Is there another show coming in or is it "limited" incase it doesn't sell and they can easy leave without much hoopla?

No answer to your q tho, sorry!

Nothing has been announced (or rumoured?) at the Ambassadors yet so maybe they're just being cautious at the moment to see how well it does in the WE.
