Jack O'Connell is probably the best male screen actor under 30. Or at least in the top 5, he's excellent. No. Just no I hate when people do this, it's so obnoxious and rude. You can't just 'no' somebody's opinion away. And whilst I'm happy to hear a different point of view, just saying 'no' doesn't give me any explanation as to why you disagree. |

Shirley Crabtree? (one for the teenagers there!) It would be EASY, EASY, EASY to cast him.
There was a Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks show at the Fringe a couple of years ago, really enjoyed it. Sadly the 20 or so of us that were there were all of a certain vintage

I saw Benedict Andrews' protégé Simon Stone's Death Of A Salesman at Belvoir Street in Sydney with Colin Friels which took place entirely in a car.

I really liked Jack O'Connell in The Nap. Never seen him in anything else, but he was excellent. I can't imagine him being American, but I'm happy to try it out. I don't know the play (never seen the film) but I've enjoyed the other TW plays I've seen. I wasn't going to go because of the high prices but I just found £40 seats front of the balcony, officially restricted view but don't seem too bad, so I'm going, woo.

My only interest in this is seeing Colm Meaney, but the prices are far too high, so unless there's a few bargains thrown up (which I doubt), I'll be giving this a miss.

You can on Amazon tickets, and a few performances have got tickets for about £36 in upper circle. Glad i bought £20 tickets for this when it first went on sale, though I wish I was closer for the shower scene  |

I saw somewhere that the first act is 50 mins and the second is 1 hour 40. Which sounds ridiculous and also like you're not going to be out before 10:20pm at the earliest, assuming 20 minute interval.

Well, it's a big, unwieldy play in three acts. And you have to put the interval somewhere. I seem to remember the Anthony Page production on Shaftesbury Avenue had the interval after the second, though?

Calm down dear, it's not unheard of for people to comment on an unusually short first half/unusually long second half combo when previously-seen productions of the play have done it the other way round or at least acknowledged the three-act structure with a short break between acts 2 and 3.  |

Got a lottery ticket from TodayTix and went to see this tonight.
The second act is indeed considerably longer than the first one, but neither felt long. It was my first time seeing the show, and I loved it.
