On the Nimax site the only £20 tickets are at the back or restricted view in the upper circle. Nothing in the stalls or dress circle under £57 (presume £47 was in previews).
So I think I can live without this one unless some offers turn up.

On the other hand the YV is SO cheap We have been spoilt They haven't increased at least their bottom ticket prices for ages I think I have been in the front row for every main house show for £10 for best part of a decade So I dont begrudge the WE venture so much But they could have cast a better actor |

Hey Parsley, the balcony would have been use for All My Sons (assuming they sold enough tickets per performance), as it was only since the Curious Incident of... well, the Ceiling in the Early-Evening-Time that they've closed it off. No loss, the balcony was tremendously high up, plagued with bars, and dreadfully uncomfortable. For the upper circle and dress circle, I absolutely cannot recommend the sides, AT ALL. Not just the outermost few seats either, I would categorically aim for the middle third of the seats and avoid like the plague the outer third on each side. Once the circles start to bend, the view starts to be awfully impeded. I can't speak with confidence for the visibility with regards to height of the upper circle or the rake of the seats as it's been a long time since I've been up there, and it obviously does depend on the staging or whether you get tall/inconsiderate people in front of you, but keeping central is the main thing to bear in mind I reckon.

I am not surprised they closed it!!
I booked her the middle of upper (grand) circle in the end
Centre of row D
She is 6ft so won't have issues seeing over heads although may get squashed legs!
It's not a must see
There is too much potential for a major f*** up here
I think £35 is fine
If it's amazing it will end up being a bargain

Well, I made a pilgrimage to the Crucible Theatre Sheffield to see Jack O'Connell in The Nap.
And I saw Sienna Miller in David Lan's Young Vic on Walkabout As You Like It at Wyndham's.
And Benedict Andrews is one of the hot directors at the Young Vic, the Barbican and globally.
But it's less than a year since Robert Hastie's Theatr Clwyd COaHTR with Catrin Stewart.
So, regrettably, I'll pass on this.

^ Loads of those on the front row of the grand circle (ideal if you are under 5ft as there is no legroom) and two boxes at that level. Bookable on the Young Vic site. Thanks TM. Ended up booking a £20 seat through Nimax as the YV site wouldn't even load. |

Booked. I've seen it before but I imagine this time I will really feel Maggie's frustration. Perhaps to the point of doing a bit of yowling from the grand Circle myself Those ears! and i'm watching it the day before Angels in America, so between him and Russell Tovey i'm gonna be in ear lovers heaven haha. |
