Daniel - you are ON IT! Now - what I'd like to know is when Amber's last show is and when the show will be extended LOL Ahahaa, I'd love to say I am important enough to know the insight, but sadly, I just look on West End Understudies twitter every once in a while.

I thought it would be worth mentioning Ruth is still in the physical programme (I went last week)... I didn't buy one but the woman next to me did, and I saw Ruth's name and picture in there - maybe she is still chained up in the basement.... the saga continues!!!

I wouldn't expect a programme reprint just because an alternate leaves. Must cost a fortune. The fact that she hasn't been on in over 4 months speaks for itself.
She's still got the DG artwork on her twitter banner pic, and describes herself as alternate Effie which is factually correct I suppose. But but all of the most recent comments suggest she's moving onto other things. Good for her.

I don't know how to make this sound nice, be on twitter, she seems a bit despersre to get the next thing going. She has been publically tweeting current big name singers and producers like Jessie Ware and Stormzy to perform/work with her, making it seem lkke maybe she really wants to get the next thing going. I don't mean that to sound horrible but its true haha.

You know what though, with all this success, I take back what I said about it originally when I assumed it would always be a limited run. And I hope it stays around as long as it csn, it really is a fantastic show!

Ahaha just as I read your comment I come with more info haha. Marisha is doing the matinee today, but nothing mentioned about any Understudies yesterday, so I am assuming Amber did yesterday and is doing tonight?
I wonder if this is a bit of trying out to see if it works better for, as mentioned previously here, having Amber do six shows and have the alternates do two shows?

Thanks to the ever insightful advise from fellow board members I was down in the queue for the box office first thing. Snapped me up a £20 ticket for tonight in the stalls, F22.
Of course this is live theatre and nothing is certain till the time however the lovely lady at the box said that Amber is due to be on.
Then, as if that in itself was not enough on such a gloriously sunny day, I managed to score myself a free haircut at the nearby Ted Baker Grooming Salon.
Get in!
