Also, how are they gonna handle a Press Night situation for the new cast? Surely it ki da defeats the purpose of making sure a lead is always on so no one can complain if Marisha is the one reviewed in the press, it sets her up to be the lead to the general public (or at least those who read reviews), so some are gonna be dissapointed? |

It does seem to me having uneven leads like that. There are many roles I think could have benefited from an even split between 2 people than a lead and alternate. Whether that is set or mixed performances could be an issue still though. 8 into 3 was never going to go but it seems very odd.

It's on the website...Marisha Mon, Tues and one show on Wed, so what danieljohnson14 says is absolutely right - it could potentially be Marisha for all 3... |

I wasn't that impressed with the audio of Moya's first AIATY. The first minute where she was going into her head voice didn't sound right. I can't describe it any better than that. Apart from that she just reminded me of Marisha. I think I just prefer Amber's slightly cleaner vocals.

Thinking of giving this another go soon, saw Amber 3 times in the original cast and she was great (I'm a huge Glee fan) but which Effie would you say is most worth seeing now she's gone? Have heard great things about Marisha but not sure if that's just because she's doing the most shows.

Her growth in the role is pretty amazing, she is much stronger now than she was.alongside seeing her at Musical Marathon and in The Color Purple, I love her voice. She's worth a watch, even if just once. She seems to divide opinions though, so I say just go and enjoy and see if you like her for yourself. For me, worth it. |

I haven't seen all three of them perform live yet but I'd say Marisha. That being said, I'd just go on whatever date is easiest for you, as everyone's opinion differs |

It’s a hard one because only those who have seen all three ladies can give a truly objective opinion. Other than Amber I’ve only seen Marisha - she is very good, but as I say I can’t compare her to the others so my opinion is naturally biased. |

I’d say it depends on what kind of voice you want to hear. Gospel - marisha, power - Moya or clear - karen

I did actually look for it on there before I posted my snarky response as well. There about 300 caveats to the schedule though so I would LIKE to think they'll put a different Effie on for all 3 press performances, but who knows? |
