Wow didn't Marisha sound fabulous?! My brother walked in and questioned whether it had been prerecoreded because her voice sounded so beautiful and clear. Listening to that, I don't really think there's a huge amount of difference vocally between her and Amber. She just needs to tone down her And I Am Telling You at public events.

Saw Marisha this afternoon which means I have now seen all 3 Effies. Marisha was excellent but I still think Amber was better. Definitely vocally. The acting marisha may have been slightly better if not a bit too over the top. Karen was decent.
On a side note, the second act was delayed due to some commotion in the circle. No idea what happened as I was in stalls. Think someone was removed. Anyone know?

I got my camer...ahem...rucksack caught in my seatback when I got spotted, and they sent the heavies in when it was clear that I was going to upload a video called "Best 'Listen' Ever" to YouTube before they had actually finished singing it! They dangled me over the edge of the circle; I'm surpised you didn't see me 😂😜 |

That would explain why she's hardly on though, what does everyone else think? |

When I spoke to Liisi in August at Costa, she told me she wasn't sure if she was staying or not, there were alot of things up in the air over there at the time, her words not mine.  |

I'd be happy if Marisha was full time or alternate, however I hope they get rid of this stupid alternate situation and just have one alternate and two understudies like most cover situations whether Marisha stays or not! It was ridiculous to have two from the moment it opened.

As much as I want (NEED) Marisha to stay, I hope she doesn't stay if she's just been offered another year of being alternate, she deserves lead with all her talent and all she's done with the show this year.

To the best of my knowledge there is still going to be two alternates. I'm just cautious to say things with any definiteness, as it's been a while since I last had an update and we all know how quickly these things can change!

I agree, she has worked her ass off, been doing loads of promo outside the show, and performing more than any other alternate in London possibly since she came late December. She has more than earned the lead slot, it's just a case of seeing if the producers have decided that sadly. |

Hey all, New to this forum so please don't be too harsh on me haha! As someone who used to go to London a lot to see shows, now funds don't allow this and I rely on the stuff that appears on youtube! Does anyone know where I can hear something with Lily or Jocasta as Deena? Preferably Listen? I saw both in another show and am interested to hear them as Deena having seen Lisii a couple of times! Thanks  |
