Well Lesley Joseph was a name I was not expecting. She must be missing panto this year! Wonder if Baz will announce the monster and Inspector Kemp / Harold the Hermit also.

Big fan of Ross Noble as comedian but has he any serious acting experience? Or is it the type of role where the actor can extemporise? Certainly interesting casting.

I saw Ross Noble as Franz in the last UK tour of The Producers. He was, in my opinion, certainly not horrendous then, pretty good actually, but needed a bit of fine-tuning. I'm sure he has the potential to be good in this!

I thought Ross was great in the recent tour of The Producers .... he had a good voice and wasn't a bad star casting

Watch the horror film "Stitches", his film debut as an actor. It's a horror-comedy so fair warning, and very graphic, but he is very funny!

Good to hear - I didn't know he'd done the Producers tour.

One thing I do wonder now though is how long the initial cast will be there for? Because I wouldn't of thought Ross or Leslie would be the kind to stay for longer than 6 months but I am ready to be proven wrong!

I wasn't planning to see this in December but HADLEY FRASER, SOLD. Same. I can't stand Brooks' out-dated sexist slightly racist humour and will never forgive him for introducing premium seating, so I wasn't keen on this at all. But I might have to see it anyway now. Love me a bit of Hadley Fraser and it will be great to see him in a musical again. Now if only he got rid of that awful beard....

I must confess despite the fact I'd rather watch 'One Man Two Gu'vners' again than ever have to sit through a Mel Brooks film, I did laugh a LOT at this on stage.

Haha, fair enough Personally I just can't stand beards. I caught a brief glimpse of Mr Fraser sans beard in "Decline and Fall" on the BBC last week and was reminded what a handsome chap he is underneath. And yea, I admit that I went into The Producers (the stage version) fully prepared to loathe it and had a great time. Young Frankenstein was so-so in Paris, but I willingly admit that plenty jokes probably went over my head because of my miserable French. So if I have time during my October trip and there are decently priced seats, I'll probably give it a go.

This seems so left field and out of the blue, so I can hardly be excited when there is so much better material out there to do over this. I saw the US tour back in (2009?) with Roger Bart and Andrea Martin, both from the original Broadway cast. I believe there could have been other members from the OBC. Andrea Martin is a master in comedy, I must say that going in and not knowing much about the show, I was literally laughing way too out loud.
Having said that, I won't be running to see this, regardless who is in it and how cheap the tickets are.

I know it starts in Newcastle, does it then go direct to London?

I just KNEW a Strallen would be Inga! I still couldn't pick any of them out of a line up though.
Studly Fraser is good casting though and Lesley Joseph is going to have an absolute ball with 'He Vas My Boyfriend'.
Can. Not. Wait.

It's funny, over the weekend we watched the Royal Albert Hall Disney concert thing on Sky Arts, and I was explaining to my parents about the Strallens and how there's always one working in the West End and it seems like every new musical casts one...... At this point it must be a theatrical superstition!

The Ensemble are: Patrick Clancy, Imogen Brooke, Matt Crandon, Nathan Elwick, Kelly Ewins-Prouse, Andrew Gordon-Watkins, Sammy Kelly, Richard Pitt, Harriet Samuel-Gray, Gemma Scholes, Emily Squibb, Aron Wild and Josh Wilmott.
No mention as of yet on who will play the other three support roles of The Monster, Inspector Hans Kemp/Harold the Hermit or Victor Frankenstein (those who don't know the show, Hadlet is playing the lead role of Frederick Frankenstein).

She's the one who sang with Zizi on Sunday bub, the Strallen sister who chose to wear crocs at a Charity Event.

I went to London for a show onnDecember 20th and almost every show was sold out, even the flops!
