@emicardiff I was perfect, plenty cool enough without being too cold, so I could just enjoy the show without having to think about the temperature. It's infuriating that Travelodges don't even let you open the window more than a few inches. We had the fan on all night but it was still almost unbearable.

It was lovely and cool in The Other Palace last week.
Anyone been to the following recently and can report on them..
Noel Coward, Young Vic, Trafalgar Studios, Phoenix, Ambassadors, Garrick?
Think they are all the ones I am booked to see this summer!

Well the Adelphi certainly knows what air con is! I've honestly not been that cold in quite a while. Granted everyone else around me was complimenting it and saying how lovely and cool it was but it left me shivering, I had to go and stand putside during the interval just to warm up again. When I returned later in the week (yes it was a week of multiple visits) I took a cardigan with me just to put on whilst I was inside the theatre, wasn't a fan of having to carry it around London but it certainly beat sitting through Kinky Boots whilst shivering and trying to stop my teeth from chattering, I know I do tend to get cold easily but still I wasn't expecting that this week. The Other Palace on the other hand was the ideal temperature for me.

Talked to one of the actors of Titanic the Musical today at the Alhambra, Bradford. He informed me it was the first theatre of the whole tour so far to have actual functioning air conditioning. I wondered maybe the air cons of the previous theatres were just broken but he goes, "Nope. They just didn't have them."
So they have been to *takes breath* Bromley, Blackpool, Nottingham, Northampton, Plymouth, Edinburgh, Birmingham Hippodrome, Glasgow, Sheffield, Dublin, Southampton Mayflower, Belfast, Cardiff Millennium Centre, and Manchester Lowry, yet NONE of these places had air con?? Surely not?!
