They kind of passed me by. Too late for uni, we were busy starting a family when they were at their height and they were never musically interesting enough to propel me to go & see them. Noel’s divorce bill is clearly the defining factor here but good luck to ‘em!

Pepsi Max Cherry all the way. Lime for me. Though the now discontinued Raspberry was the best.

I do quite like the Lime.
I tried the Raspberry at Five Guy’s the other day but the syrup must have been out in the machine ‘cos it didn’t taste of anything’

Did find a nice blueberry one in France but no UK equivalent as of yet

Never had an Oasis, but even now still makes me think of Paul O’Grady saying “open, pour, be yourself once more.”

Dandelion and Burdock. Not that posh Fentiman’s nonsense, the cheap stuff. Barrs or even better Morrisson’s own label. Diet, obvs. With a bag of cheese and onion crisps.
I don’t think any of the flavoured colas work. That vanilla one they brought out was an abomination.

I’ve seen them before but that was 18 years ago ; I’ll see how much tickets are and if a golden circle is on offer cos I don’t want to be stood behind seventy thousand neds in Stone Island singing out of tune.

I recall the M&S Jaffa cake discussions very fondly - great times. I thought of that the other week when I was killing time in an M&S and wandered along the biscuit aisle. I take it from this thread that Oasis is some sort of soft drink? Not that I know much about Oasis the band either.

Rather unsure about them My faves are the French Pims. Their Pear version is sublime. And the Raspberry is much better than the Raspberry Jaffa Cakes. And then we have have the new Orange from Terry's... Which is just milk chocolate with no added flavour!

I was a massive fan as a teen (I would now argue, before I got some better taste!) so just in the name of nostalgia I will attempt to buy a ticket, hopefully it won't require me to apply for a loan.

I'd like to see them, but I'm not cramming in with loads of people. I'm not a student anymore. If there's an equivalent of the Royal Circle where I can sit at the front and actually see, I'll happily pay extra for it. I don't want to stand, and I don't want a seated section where other people are going to stand anyway. So best I can look for is front of a seated section. Which basically means I won't be going because those will go straight away!

I'm guessing £100 for standing.. I think that will be cheap! I am guessing double that. But I hope you are right. also looks like it's 4 days at Wembley so hopefully plenty of chances for the desperate (not me ahah)

Cleaned out by a divorce bill?
Adult childen now, I'd imagine - is this for the lifestyle an ex needs?

I saw them at Wembley in 2009. Was a great gig for a 19 year old at the time, but don't feel the FOMO pull to see them again. I remember it being the first time I had seen people throwing their pints around for fun!
