Booked for opening night in Liverpool. I managed to get a few really good last minute single seats heavily discounted on the last tour so hopefully I can get the same again on this one.

Lol re ATG giving the people who cough up for ATG+ precisely 2 hours between 2pm and 4pm, unannounced, for the presale.

So… Cheltenham is actually open for booking on their website, even though it says on the Bat main page 26th June. Just thought I’d let people know!

What odds on "Land of the Pig" is being reinstated for the new tour? Would be good to hear Rob Fowler belt that final note once more.
Never forget Sharon wiping away his tears in that final performance of "What Part Of My Body Hurts The Most" in the last show of the last tour - I think that song sucked every bit of air and wrung every bit of emotion out of the entire audience.

Was it Glenn Adamson doing West End Live? Is he good? I wasn't convinced from that performance...I want to see the show again though

Vocally he is excellent and he is also high energy whilst having that "lost" innocence about him. I preferred him to Andrew Polec, who was also very good. Definitely worth seeing - hard to get energised to a backing track with nobody else on stage.

I think Glenn is fantastic as Strat. Great vocals and he definitely has got that stage presence for the role. I do hope that some of the songs that were cut from the last tour make it back into this one. Whilst not a fan of “land of pigs” it was a great vocal from Rob. I really missed the “Good Girls go to heaven” in the show rather than using it as a random encore at certain shows.

If I book the Saturday matinee am I likely to get the alternate Strat? Is that what they did last time?

Agree Glenn is sensational. That West End Live set up did the whole thing dirty really.
Though it's not unusual for WEL/TV spots/any performances out of context to not do the show and the performers justice!
Anyway, excited about this. I have booked Birmingham and Manchesterford! (At the latter the stars align and one can do a double show weekend with Bat and Joseph! Both shadows of their former selves lol, but still a fantastic night out)!

That was SO random how they sometimes did Good Girls as an encore on the tour and sometimes just, didn't! Not even like was there and dropped. It just appeared sporadically throughout the tour! Was actually in the show mid Act 1 when the initial Manc run opened :-)

Loved them in the original Manc opening (never saw it on London) but then was gutted when they never reappeared in the last tour. I saw the show 3 times in Liverpool on the last tour and only on the opening night did they do Good Girls. I didn't understand that logic.

Not a great show, but I enjoyed it as a first time viewer. My friend said Closer To Heaven was a complete mess and he was at the original press night.

If I book the Saturday matinee am I likely to get the alternate Strat? Is that what they did last time? Very likely - I booked a couple and Luke Street covered both. No bad thing if you see him in any role as he has a sensational voice. In fact, if he joins this tour as alternate Strat I will purposefully book one of his dates.

I saw Luke Street in JCS and I agree he was great. Hopefully he does go back to this 🤞

Bat out of Hell (BooH?) have announced their cast for the 2025-tour. Not something I'm usually interested in, but Carly Burns is joining as Valkyrie, so might have a look in Bristol in September. batoutofhellmusical.com/

Might book for the relatively tiny New Theatre in Cardiff. The noise & the close up might go some way to replacing the actual staging.

Great to see Luke Street return to the cast of BOOH as Ledoux (and presumably U/S Strat?) - I'm already booked for this show several times in various locations, and even more excited now by what looks like a strong cast!

Real shame IMHO that they've gender swapped Tink to female and therefore removed the only part of vaguely queer coded ambiguity from the show. (Does he look up to Strat like a brother? Does he fancy him? Is he too young to know?) I guess they feel the masses can't cope with that 3 second sequence in a more concert-y type setting. Though who knows!
Apart from that - great cast. Can't wait to go :-)

removed the only part of vaguely queer coded ambiguity from the show. Didn't he try to kiss Strat, at least in the Dominion version? Wasn't particularly ambiguous then!

I'm not fussed either way - don't care if Tink is m or f. I don't read too much into these things.
