Wow. I was tweeting the management just yesterday asking if there was any news on the show. CANNOT WAIT! If anyone wants someone to see the show with then drop me a message, will probably be seeing it 10-15 times, Meat Loaf is my favourite artist so anything involving his songs is a must.

I am absolutely THRILLED about this!
I was brought up on Meat Loaf and I absolutely credit him and Steinman for starting up my love of musicals. So many of his songs are like mini musicals in themselves and there's a great story that can be told through them.
SO EXCITED

I'm torn over making a trip to Manchester to see this (annoyingly it starts at the end of my schools half term in Feb so I can't go to see it then, and I am away over the entire Easter hols so I would be reliant on a Saturday with having to stay over night when places are more expensive) or waiting until the Coliseum at prices likely to be much more expensive (will they change Glenn Close prices?).
Will probably have to go to the Coliseum as my mum wouldn't be happy with me going alone to Manchester considering how big a Meat Loaf fan she is

Many of his songs have their foundation in the world the show will inhabit, with Peter Pan themes, and post apocalyptic settings. It's not just a bunch of unconnected songs brought together to make a musical. |

On the official website it says the show contains over 20 Steinman songs, including: I’D DO ANYTHING FOR LOVE (BUT I WON’T DO THAT) (from the album "Bat Out Of Hell 2") DEAD RINGER FOR LOVE (from the album "Dead Ringer") IT’S ALL COMING BACKTO ME NOW (from the albums "Original Sin" and "Bat Out Of Hell 3" - and Celine) |

I know ENO is short of cash but it's odd they're renting out the Coliseum next summer, I'd thought somewhere like the Palladium would make more sense.
