Maybe they're still working on the site/updating it with info and add more dates?
Funny enough I tied up three vouchers I had got for cancelled shows from ATG into this new booking, so at least it would be just one voucher now, if they cancelled this again.

I saw this too but it seems to be very old news? They refer to the official website, which shows the dates in Manchester, Birmingham, Wimbledon, Oxford and Glasgow as postponed, which we've known for weeks already (and tickets having been rebooked).
Liverpool and Newcastle are still on sale - we should get an announcement for THOSE being cancelled/postponed any day....

I assumed a new tweet = new news 🙂 It can’t be anything other than postponed though, just hoping it’s not permanently postponed just put on hold.

Ah ok. I assumed a new tweet = new news 🙂 Yes, that's what I also thought, especially re: Liverpool as I have tickets for late December and I really don't see it happening. I'd rather KNOW than keep this tiny flame of hope alive. I guess at this stage producers will just wait until shows are possible in general again before re-scheduling tours. So much had been moved to autumn/winter only to now be postponed/cancelled again. I do hope for everyone involved (and us fans!) that the Bat tour will be happening some time in 2021...

BOOH has now been removed from the Liverpool Empire ATG page. Hopefully we’ll get some rescheduled dates for 2021 / 2022.

BOOH has now been removed from the Liverpool Empire ATG page. Hopefully we’ll get some rescheduled dates for 2021 / 2022. And indeed all other venues have disappeared from ATG. They had rebooked my Manchester tickets for September 2021. Thinking about it, I have no idea if these were new dates ever agreed by the producers, or if ATG were up to their old tricks of just moving tickets to any date in the future to avoid the refund requests that would come from 'cancellation' and are avoided by 'rescheduled.' (This is what they did somewhat disingenuously with my Love Never Dies tickets). Who knows! Least surprising of all is that have heard nothing from ATG re my Liverpool of Manchesterford tickets. Les Mis is in a similar ATG position. Bristol for example is now in May 2021. But there is no mention of this from CM or on the official website. One of many ATG mysteries.

I’d only initially booked for the LE opening night but was planning booking on several more dates over the festive period as my Christmas theatre binge this year. I’ve not heard anything myself from ATG regarding BOOH but il admit I’ve had one eye on the website over the last few months once the earlier Manc dates were pulled. In all honesty I had already accepted this tour wasn’t going to happen this year in the current situation so hopefully we get some good news about rescheduling these dates. Having already got things rescheduled for going into 2022 I’m starting to lose track of where things are upto, I feel another EXCEL spreadsheet may need to be created to keep things in order!

david same! Also knew this tour wasn't gonna happen now. Which is a real shame but was sadly inevitable. I do hope they find a way to make it work. Bat tours seem to come across more than their fair share of obstacles. Haha - I already have another spreadsheet going. It's a very good idea. Once I'd got all the refunds I was after, I wanted to keep track of the rescheduled stuff. So many of the big tours have moved dates to 2021 from Spring onwards. All assuming they will be able to use all seats. I am keeping everything crossed but do think we will also see a 'second wave' of cancellations and rescheduling. As someone from Bristol (ATG), uni in Manchester (ATG) and live in Brighton (ATG) not sure I have the strength to extensively negotiate their customer services again! (I'll manage lol ;-)) Farthest in the future I have is Les Mis at The Lowry in Summer 2022!

I got my email about my tickets being moved for Birmingham (which I expected) and Wimbledon (which I’d half- hoped being in June might happen). Nothing yet about Oxford or Manchester. But it’s a reschedule not a cancel so in this climate I’m counting that today as a win!

As you say positive news that there are discussions with the producers about rescheduling rather than a tour cancellation.

When was this ment to be in Cardiff? I don’t think they’d said. Originally they’d released tickets for Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford, Wimbledon, Liverpool and Glasgow and said other dates would be coming soon. Other than possible Newcastle, no other dates were released and Covid hit...

Great, a notification just popped up on my phone saying that I should be at the Empire Theatre tonight watching the opening night of the show in Liverpool. Instead I'll be listening to the OCR CD at home .

He's left an amazing legacy of tunes. And of course not only is he responsible for BOOH but he also contributed to Whistle Down the Wind And Tanz der Vampire Although primarily known as a rock songwriter, Steinman was truly a man of the theatre, whose musicals, from The Dream Engine in the late sixties onwards, were innovative, exciting, truly original and the original home of many of the songs that later became famous hits for Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler and others. RIP, Jim.

He also did the Batman musical (there is a demo CD floating around, where he plays The Joker!).
Truly feeling the pain. Bat Out of Hell is my favourite album and I love his music. "Read 'em and Weep", "It's All Coming Back to Me". So many mega hits. Plus all of the musical theatre.
Just a huge loss. Gutted. RIP Jim.
