I find this a bit of a weird pre-empting given that the show hasn't opened at all yet. Is it all because of the name attached? Seems a bit risky for Broadway prices I wouldn't call it pre-empting - Broadway is essentially inevitable, given the calibre of A-list star involved, and it has probably been written into contracts and plans since way before the London announcement. Plus: even if the play gets godawful reviews in London (which, given Lloyd's recent track record, I quite strongly doubt), it can still go to Broadway and be successful, purely on the basis of Holland's name. Do we think that Francesca Amewudah-Rivers would also transfer to Broadway, as has been suggested by some social posts resharing the Mirror/Deadline report? Given the fact that Thaxton, Hodgett-Young and Francis all went with Sunset Blvd, it seems likely - plus, the backlash would be immense, given the abuse she has faced. |

Criteria has changed for the £25 tix it seems. Both ticket holders need to fit the criteria (previously your +1 could be anyone if you weren't going based on age), and Key Workers now defined as those eligible for a Blue Light Card (no mention of teachers/shop workers anymore). Hi, I've just looked at the criteria again and now it says: Booking Criteria: UNDER 30s: both ticket holders must be 30 years of age or younger on the date of their chosen performance. KEY WORKERS: Anyone who is eligible for, or a current Blue Light Card holder. This includes workers in the NHS, emergency services, social care sector, armed forces, and specialist education professionals including teachers and childcare workers. THOSE RECEIVING GOVERNMENT BENEFITS: Anyone in receipt of Universal Credit. So it seems like teachers are included now, not sure about other school staff like TAs or support staff? |

I think the mention in the Under 30 section that both ticketholders must be under 30, but its omission in the others makes it unclear whether that applies for the others. My mum was going to try for Keyworker tickets, but it's unlikely she'd be taking another keyworker with her. I know further up it says both ticketholders must meet the criteria, but the under 30 part confuses things for me... are they saying you can mix and match for the other ticket types, i.e have one keyworker and one benefits for those ticket types, but for the under 30s you can't? There also doesn't seem to be any contact details to ask for more clarity. |

If it helps, I contacted ATG a couple days ago, asking because my dad has a Blue Light Card and I fit the under 30 criteria. They said that a pair of tickets can be booked, so it does sound as if they can be mix and matched to an extent  |

Queried with ATG: "in order to be eligible to book these tickets, each ticket holder must meet at least one of the aforementioned criteria. Depending on which criteria they meet, each person attending must ensure they bring either (1) an identification card (UK or country of residence), (2) a Blue Light Card or (3) documentation confirming your Universal Credit status in order for theatre staff to check as you enter the Duke of York's Theatre."
