It was a person, that was in the first cast of the bodyguard tour leg. A very reliable source. I would be interesting to see,if they work together in the future. I have seen some of her lovely fans get picked on, on social media and she's not commented. I guess it's the saying if your face fits. She is a talented singer. She sells seats and puts on a great show. 😊 It's the last sentence that is important here. 99% of the audience don't go to the stage door, follow performers online or think they are friends so won't care if the performer is a nice person or not, or if they interact well on social media. It's if they can deliver a performance night after night which makes paying out the high ticket prices worthwhile.

True, but she shouldn't support bullying. By giving her favourite fans FREE TICKETs. The Bodyguard cast never got it.
I guess it's down to her at the end of the day, who she wants to support her.
Something just doesn't add up to me.
I guess we will see ifs she's back next year in 2018, with Stuart Ried.

Don't see how giving people free tickets is bullying...surely if she feels those people are her most supportive fans, she is perfectly entitled to offer her allocation of tickets to whoever she wants to?
If she is actually bullying people then of course that is not acceptable, but giving some people free tickets...come on, that's not bullying.

Who she gives free tickets to is her business - Beverley Knight gave a fan a free ticket for the last show and I don't see you accusing her of bullying! Something doesn't add up for me with your posts I'm afraid - your allegations against her are completely illogical and unfair!

Just in regards to the earlier comments about Alexandra, you should add her Snapchat and you will see she seems like a lovely lady! So funny and personable!
As for Deborah, she sounds BRILLIANT! She'd be great touring the uk with the show but I doubt she would.
I was thinking and Jennifer Hudson would make a great Rachel but the chance of her touring the UK in a musical is 1% - I'm still waiting on her to do a concert tour!!
This is a sort of show, I'd have loved to produced!

I think, if it ever goes to Broadway, it will be Deborah Cox playing the role. But wouldn't be shocked, at any capacity, to see Jennifer play the role on Broadway, finally get that Tony nom!

Any idea on when this is supposed to tour the UK again? And who the cast might be?
I know people mentioned Alexandra but I can't see her doing it again.
I would love to see Rachel John as Rachel Marron full time but she's gone onward and upwards now!

I would love to see Rachel John as Rachel Marron full time but she's gone onward and upwards now! And about time too, she so deserves it - it was lovely seeing the universally ecstatic reaction here and on twitter to her being cast! Long may she be our Angelica (and then hopefully after that Elphaba sometime in the future!)! There are so many musicals out on the road at the minute, are we sure there's any need for this to tour again in the next few years?

I think the producers at this point have figured out that Broadway is not the way to go, and that there are ways to make serious profit out of the touring circuit and international productions. With a successful US tour, Canada, Germany, Australia soon, and non-replica productions coming up in Germany, a good run in the Netherlands that's about to end, Italy, and a current one in Korea, I'm sure they're making a nice little profit out of it. Though if it goes to Broadway, I have major doubts that Jennifer Hudson would want to touch it after something a bit more high brow like Color Purple. I also think Heather Headley has outgrown it and I can't see her tackling this anymore, especially after her run in Color Purple as well. I think in Headley's case, the show doesn't feel high profile enough anymore considering how stripped back it is from her London days.

So is this really going on a tour of the U.K. In 2018?
The comments on here about Alexandra Burke, I do know of a few peoples life's she has ruined. Let's face it how can anyone make judgement on a person, they don't really know.
I can't see her doing the bodyguard again, unless she has nothing else planned. I don't understand why she's not in the west end,

I just want to see an announcement but if I tell isnt until 2018 we probably won't know until Summer atleast

Is there a reason, why Alex is not in the west end?
Someone said the tour, will have a familiar Rachel and Stuart?

One would hope they'd cast someone new by then rather than pull a Wicked and just recycle leading lady after another (which is somewhat impossible anyway because the selection is much smaller to begin with). I'd say get Leona Lewis to do it this time. There's tons of B-list pop singers who could do this. And it's most likely going to be given to a pop singer rather than a musical theatre actress.

Interesting suggestion.
Leona has an incredible voice but I'm not sure she has the presence or personality to pull it off- her dancing might need an upgrade too- I could be wrong though.
Hard to know if she would commit to it or give her recording career another shot.

I agree that a popstar will probably play Rachel
