Really great first half, probably going to have nightmares after the beginning but Brian is great, you wouldn't know it is/was a debut!
....few empty seats so guess people chose not to come in. We were late bookers only a few weeks ago and it was nearly full then!
Jenna Russell is brilliant such a presence on the stage!
There was a very fleeting glance of a bum cheek - blink and you'd miss it!

Well a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Ok still massively gutted to have missed Kit but I thought it was a great show.
Never seen a play before but will definitely be looking a few more up. The celeb lead got my interest and I'm really glad I went - it might take the other half a bit of time to get over KH being absent though!
Disappointly at least six people left at the interval which meant the front row of the dress was half empty for the 2nd half, few in the stalls too!
Brian Gilligan (Dad bod-esq if anyone is interested!) was fab and had a little tear in his eye as he took his bow which so well deserved!

As much as I would have been utterly dismayed to have missed Kit-off I do think it'd always lovely when an understudy gets their big moment and receives a lovely response.
It would probably even make JK Rowling raise a smile.

Yes in all seriousness it was a great performance and a small tear showed how much it meant to him being able to do it in front of an audience! |

Saw this for £15 front stalls seat on Monday evening.
Oh....dear.....god!
Really nothing further to add to what has already been said.
The whole thing reminded me of a student drama school end of term showcase...where everyone was ACTING and pretentious and actually not very good.
I felt sorry for the cast having to do this 8 shows a week - I suppose they just think about paying their rent. I also felt sorry for the stage management and wardrobe departments having to clean up all that sh*t every single performance.
Positives.....er....er....well Kit has a lovely body and great abs and spends most of act 2 in his underwear which provided a welcome distraction, but unfortuneatly did not have the acting chops for this. Jenna Russell (she must fire her agent for getting her into this) salvaged what she could out of the mess and did a few songs at the end of the interval which was entertaining but had nothing to do with the rest of the production.
Nice to see mostly youngters in the audience but no standing ovation at the end. Probably there only to see Kit and probably unlikely to ever venture into a theatre ever again!
Still it passed a wet Monday night!

Even though this has really not been popular on here over the run, the temptation to see it tomorrow night is so much! I have been wanting to see it during the entire run, and after missing loads of shows because of the response from audiences and critics and regretting it, I kinda wanna see this just so I can at least see something I have wanted to see.
Plus, I really like Kit and the play itself sounds like a really interesting concept!

I saw it the other week and thoroughly enjoyed it, even with moments of dodgy direction and staging. I could definitely see why people would dislike it but for me, it was a very interesting and memorable night out!

Ah glad to hear, I have not booked for tomorrow as I am working but I have booked to see the final matinee on Saturday afternoon. Am glad I have actually, I don't want to miss another play that has intrigued me from the first announcement.

Got a £15 rush ticket from TodayTix (with handy £10 off voucher, so it's costing me a bargainous £5) so I'm intrigued to see what I make of this!

Well Kit has his work cut out for him today, not only two shows, I have just gone to collect my tickets for tonight and the stage door already has a tonne of people lined up outside!

Interval thoughts, I really like it. Going into it knowing nothing, it's strange, interesting, visually it looks great for the grimy, dark feel it is going for. The effects are great, both lighting and physical effects. Jenna is of course fantastic, and Kit is surprising me, I think he is doing well! Its one hell of a role, he leaves the stage for like a minute total in Act 1 so he is doing great. Really glad I managed to see it before it closes at tonight's performance.  Also, didn't expect it to be this homo-erotic, so much man-on-man touching and kissing haha! I love that the audience just accepts it, rather than giggle or anything. Is this part of the original text or is this added into this production? |

Really enjoyed it, the ending staging a bit anti-climactic compared to the rest but a good show! Kit and Jenna, as well as Tom and the cast were brilliant! Can barely walk through the street outside though with the amount of people waiting for Kit!
Also, the joke in Act 2 about David Cameron looking for a new job took on a whole new meaning tonight, and was met with alot of applause!

Just seen, on social media, what stage door is like for this show! Never seen anything like that before, looks like a concert/red carpet rather than a theatre! If it's like that at the savoy, I probably won't stay
