I mean it is raining in the scene prior so theres a link. Also I'm imagining its just a soft pathos of rain, enough for you to notice and be just the extra tug at your heartstrings. Also im a sucker for rain onstage, its just always one of the coolest effects you can do i think. real water raining down on actors??!! yeah!! ye Sound Department absolutely hate it though

I know strictly, this belongs in the International section for the Broadway version butttttt for nostalgia's sake... (and there's some London discussion to be had.)Huge fan of NPR's Tiny Desk series of concerts and would never in a million years imagined a Sondheim Tiny Desk, but here in the age of all things surprising, the Broadway cast of Company have had their very own Tiny Desk at Home concert. So good to hear a different arrangement of these songs and a little blast from the not so distant past. Think we got the better cast in London though, thoughts?

That last night will forever be burnt into my memory I loved the men in the London production. But I also loved Dairy Maywood as the female priest. In fact I lived everyone in London. I think Rosie sang it perfectly

They were a bit more dangerous. Like they partied with each other until very very late! Lol! I miss Fleesh and Jonathan Bailey and Alex Gaumand

That was a bit of a racket, tbh.
I'm yet to be convinced I like Lenk in the role and I'm starting to wonder whether to re-book tickets for this. We had tickets for it in April 2020.

Yeah have never been into Lenk as Bobbie. She doesn't look or sound comfortable here so doesn't sell it. They've have been better canning Another Hundred People and finishing on a big ensemble Side by Side.

I was hoping this was bumped up with news for a return to the UK! One of my biggest theatre regrets is missing it at the Gielgud.

London cast easily better. This lot a bit screechy and shoutey.
