Also releasing a Cast Recording from the Chichester run in the new year according to Amazon Assuming it’s a live recording? Elaine P played a song from it (I’m guessing) on her show last week Live highlights most likely much like the 2009 album... some songs were recorded during the Chichester run so I'm assuming this is a Chichester cast album as said above but I thought they were just for press (like EP playing it on her show.) This is the first I'm hearing about a cast album release but if a listing is up then it must be happening.

Does anyone know What is the rationale Behind such a large scale and popular musical Being shoehorned into a venue for plays The Palladium and TRDL productions were the outliers for this show, mostly it has been successful in mid-sized houses. Starting with the New in 1960 (later Albery / Noel Coward, where it was also revived in 1977), the Piccadilly in 1967 and the Aldwych in 1983. I am definitely not worried about the theatre size. The Gielgud and Noel Coward are two of my top choices for musicals. I dislike the recent 'swallowing' of shows in larger houses. Company and Old Friends were both excellent at the Gielgud and I'm looking forward to feeling close. I will be at the second preview so will have an early report back here! So far though, I'm very excited for this one!

Always welcome a new recording of one of my favourites! I know I keep going back to her in this thread, but Jodie Prenger's live As Long As He Needs Me (plus Reprise) is up there as one of my favourite musical tracks ever.

A cast recording was bound to happen for this; most iterations of this show have gotten cast recordings each with their own great star performances. CM does love a live cast recording for his big shows.

Wow. How times have changed. £85 for a dress circle slip seat! When I arrived in London seven years ago I used to go to the box office in the Morning and get a slip seat for £10! It's even listed as slightly restricted view!!
