Well it looks like the 2024 London cast album is coming out very very soon as just been looking on Apple music and they have the 2024 cast album on it with just 1 song and that is Fabulous baby with Beverley Knight.
So i have a feel that maybe the full cast album will maybe come out on Friday.
But as i say 1 song is showing and have to say it sounds great.

I think you might’ve been looking at the single that Beverley Knight recorded back in March so sadly it’s not part of the cast recording. I wouldn’t be surprised though if they do release the album on Friday since the show is closing this week so we’ll just have to wait and see.

Apologies for the double post but I think I should add something extra about my last post.
If they were to just release one song from the cast album I still think that they would announce it on their Social Media. I also think it’s a bit strange just releasing one song from the album and then just releasing the rest of the album a week later.
I’m hoping we’ll be hearing something about the cast album this week since the show is closing on Saturday. We’ll be lucky if we’ll get it this week but I doubt we will because they’ve been taking their time with it.

You know at first I thought it was just with Lesley Joseph in it, because I love her, that I was going to love it but I definitely changed my mind the first time I seen it. I know that I’m coming from a different perspective because it was the first time I saw the show I’ve seen. I do enjoy some of the videos I watched of the original production of the show and I do see where people are coming from with not liking some of the changes they made like How I Got A Calling being changed to It’s Good To Be A Nun. I do like the song but I agree with it giving no context to Mary Robert. Also I do wish that Mary Patrick and Mary Lazarus weren’t really forgotten about in the new version of the show because I feel like that they had a little bit more of a role in the original London production but I could be wrong. |

This might be a bit late since the show’s closed but this has been playing on my head for a bit.
Had anyone noticed when they saw the show that the second verse of Here Within These Walls was cut? I think it still works without it but I think it was a bit weird that it’s no longer in it and I don’t know what the reasoning about it was.

Well we are into Nov and still no cast album.
Would they have given up on the idea? unless they are getting it out for Christmas?
