Anyone aware of any deals for this? Wary of spending £80 for a non-premium seat for a 100 minute show.

Anyone aware of any deals for this? Wary of spending £80 for a non-premium seat for a 100 minute show. Wait until the initial hype dies down? It's been constantly on TKTS in New York for a long while now. And while they have cast some popular MT names in this, their fans alone won't be able to sell out the theatre night after night. I've also found reactions by English fans "meh" so far, so maybe the American humour of this won't fly on this side of the Atlantic.

Are there plans for this to be an open ended run? Just wondering if it is worth waiting for cast changes

There's bookings to the 2nd March 2025 but it could extend.

Lauren DREW though!!!!! My eyes did roll when I saw Layton announced but I think he just comes across annoying in interviews. I am surprised Bianco wasn’t cast - maybe further down the line if she’s interested. Christina Bianco didn’t even audition for this show

What’s the name of the actor who was in SWP’s Xanadu as one of the muses, and in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels as the Texan girl? Great at comedy? She’d be a good Céline.

They should have just offered her the role.

I was really looking forward to this after friends, who are not really into MT, saw it in New York and loved it
But Layton is off putting for me. Wasn’t much of a fan before, especially from Strictly but it was his interview on Amber Davies podcast that really turned me off him

Layton and Amber just have a nice friendly chat about his theatre career, as she does with all her guests. And shoutout to Amber's podcast in general, it's good one. I think this cast is stunning. I saw Lauren on the Six tour and I think she's the perfect choice for Celine. And speaking of Six, having seen Rob, Jordan and Layton performing a lockdown rendition of Ex-Wives for WoS youtube, I know they're all going to bring the camp fantastically.

I think anyone hoping to avoid certain cast members to avoid a fangirl circus or hoping for deals, in the short-medium term at least, will be very disappointed.
I don't think I've ever sat in such a pumped up audience, ready to laugh hysterically at every semi joke and fangirl every-single-cast-member to the max in my entire life as when I saw this on Broadway. Honestly it was like a cult! The Six fangirls here had nothing on them.
I am being slightly flippant. It is good. I love Celine and I love Titanic so on paper I should have loved this so there was an expectation-reality gap that I think affected my enjoyment. But my God, the audience didn't help.
I do find the humour very American. But the sheer weight of momentum and fans this show has will lead to it selling out here in a small theatre for months if not more I'd predict! Cast will also help greatly as these are all hugely popular performers. And obviously I know what am getting now.
Personally I wasn't planning on going. But Rob Houchen and Jordan Luke Gage are two fantastic performers in my eyes so am now planning on giving this circus a second chance!
Please add Think Twice though! (And Power Of Love/All Coming Back; these are anthems, it's worth the rights money lol!)

In my opinion I felt that he was which meant I didn’t enjoy listening to it. And to the reply above, I really enjoy the podcast and the way she does interviews the guests. I just didn’t enjoy this one and that’s ok
