I wouldn’t say it’s very crude. It’s definitely adult humour. There is a lot of swearing in it but it’s very on level with the type of show it is.

It’s only booking till March 2nd and I based on audience reaction last night it’ll definitely last till then. In terms of the silly American humour, there wasn’t any joke or reference that I didn’t get. I’ve not seen it in the US but judging from some of the jokes it’s obvious it’s not a carbon copy of it unless the Americans are au fait with Eastenders and Gemma Collins 😂

Saw the the first preview tonight. Absolutely fantastic show, the talent on that stage. Lauren Drew in particular absolutely shines as Celine. I knew this was going to be good but honestly all my expectations were exceeded. So many funny cultural references even ones that have only gone viral in the last 2 weeks. If you can then I urge you to see it. Have All Coming Back To Me, Think Twice or Power of Love been added!?

Definitely no to the former, and I believe also no to the other two although I'm not as familiar with them

Am glad to hear they have adapted the "comedy" for the UK as I didn't get a lot of it in NYC! I was a bemused English gay in a sea of NYC gays who seemed to be witnessing the second coming (comedy version).

Seeing it tonight In the lobby right now, I could mistake this show for being some sting operation to get as many gay men under one roof as possible

Great! Very easy ***** and a great night out. I was worried it'd be a bit too American but they have definitely adapted the comedy to English audiences.

Just under two hours. Started about 5 minutes late. Ended 21.29. Right on the cusp of what can be done without interval.

What was the run time of the show this evening? Yep, as said above. It was about 5 minutes late and I left the theatre dead on 9:30pm. I mean, there was an interval... it was just two seconds long

Does anyone know which row is front row for this production? It shows the generic seating plan online but can see from photos that some seats in the middle and possibly the traditional front row have been removed. Anyone know? Thanks.

Front row on whatever booking site is front row. If you're worried about sightlines, don't be. In fact, being front row at this is probably a blessing.

Front row is B but there are some gaps in the seating . Legroom looked a bit limited there and there was some audience interaction with frontrowers. I was pleased to be in C, the first full row for this one!

Thanks for clarifying.

Most of the action is usually front and center, the only thing you'll maybe miss from the aisle seats are the orchestra who do interact with the actors at some points.

I thought this was a five star production of a three star show. While there are some very funny and clever moments, there is also a lot that doesn't work and falls flat. They could cut 15 mins of material and make it a much tighter show.
Despite my thoughts on the material, I cannot fault the cast who were all exceptional. I have no idea how they will vocally manage this long-term - especially the 'Celine' who carries the show and is worth seeing even if the material doesn't always hit the bullseye.

I thought this was an absolute blast. Can't remember the last time I laughed so hard at the theatre, particularly at Stephen Guarino in the Frances Fisher role — that one outburst scene was hysterical! Lauren Drew is fantastic, all her mannerisms were spot-on and even though it's a *big* performance, it's never tiresome imo. I was shocked when she spoke in her normal Welsh accent at the end, so impressed that she can sing so much like Céline! The merch is fun too.
Some of the jokes went over my head (I'm guessing they were Bravo references?) and I'd say if you're not familiar with Drag Race you'd be totally lost by the climax but that's probably a very small minority of this show's audience...
