Booked this today. Very much looking forward to it. I usually go for the stalls but opted for dress circle for this one, thought it might be too intense otherwise!

Tickets for this seem to be selling well. Will no doubt be helped by James Norton on Graham Norton today. I want to see this but have been holding off due to the insane prices - now getting slightly concerned about missing out! I seem to recall the first couple of rows not being available but wasn’t sure if they’d sold out or were being held back. Is this likely to be worth the splurge or is it best to hold out? I'm sure I read that the first or the first two rows weren't put on sale or something - I could be wrong though. I'm sure there will be some sort of day seats/rush/lottery. -- I've booked third row for this in Richmond on opening night! I've never been to an opening night of a show before so I'm quite excited (and £60 in Richmond compared to the £80 at Harold Pinter).

Wow, the whole West End run has virtually sold out! The Happy Valley press with James Norton has probably been good publicity for them. The book also has a Tik Tok following so I wonder if that may be a factor too.

It has certainly sold plenty of seats since James Norton's appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
There was any number of seats when I booked this just the other week.
Anyway, it's good to see!

I didn't realise James Norton was so popular, I last saw him in Belleville at the Donmar and that wasn't difficult to get tickets for.

The book itself is fairly popular too

Was going to try and do a two show day of this and Streetcar but it’s completely sold out now.
Have the on-stage seats been out on sale yet? When I looked a couple of weeks ago it was showing random seats scattered around the theatre, but all of the on-stage ones were unavailable on every date I looked at.

Might have answered my own question. Show’s website says…
Doesn’t reflect it being completely sold out, but I assume they’re still to go on sale.

As in, actual seats on the stage? Am I being stupid? lol

It plays in traverse by having seats at the back of the stage. There’s also a gap in the front few rows of the normal seats for musicians

do we know if the on stage tickets will be cheaper? or around what price point they will be? They’re supposed to be £25 and £35 according to I read on Twitter.

Totally forgot about the on stage ticket release, so joined the queue late and was queue number 950 for getting tickets for Richmond. Took 10 minutes to get to the front and pretty much all of the on stage seating was still available? Not sure what was going on there! Easily got a front row £25 seat.

I was surprised how easy it was to get the stage seating for the Richmond run. Maybe people are opting for the Pinter run instead. Been years since I've been to Richmond, last thing I saw there was Ian McKellen's one man show.

Just checked and there's still loads of availability of the on stage seats for the West End run too.
Not sure why I decided to book on stage but couldn't resist. I've been listening to the audiobook the last couple of months and it is really, really grim! Are we going to need waterproof ponchos? I don't want my nice boots getting covered in blood.
