Giles Terrara posted a cryptic tweet of the Hamilton logo background with ‘Wait for...it” written under it. Do we think he’s returning with it when it eventually reopens?

Giles Terrara posted a cryptic tweet of the Hamilton logo background with ‘Wait for...it” written under it. Do we think he’s returning with it when it eventually reopens? I think it is more likely the Hamilton West End cast (original or otherwise) doing something for charity like the original Broadway company recently did. I think a couple of other Hamilton West End people had posted something similarly cryptic but I can't find it at the minute.

Hmm, I believe that's all talking heads with no access or contribution from anyone involved in the production?
I watched a very good Hamilton documentary (I think it might have been by PBS?) on a plane to New Zealand, and every time I see a Hamilton documentary I hope it's that one, as I'd like to watch it again. But the ones I've run across since always seem to be talking heads and publicity clips.
Though Netflix's Song Exploder series does have a very good episode with Lin and Thomas Kail talking about writing 'Wait For It'. Watched that at the weekend.

Back on sale from 15th May, just had my priority email after my cancellations. I’m hopefully at back to the future and Cinderella that day so gone for the 4th of July! The bargain centre aisle seats in the upper circle have gone up in price but upper circle slips are still £20 (as it will be my 9th time I have to cut my cloth accordingly)

Prices in general seem to be more reasonable, or at least in line with other West End shows. Larger areas of £75 seats in the stalls.

Premium seats that were £250 are now £165. The best value is probably the Dress Circle boxes at £55 a ticket.

Without doubt this is the West End musical that relies the most on American tourists so, certainly until that link is restored, it would have to price more reasonably. We may even see discounts!

I saw the show 4 times in its first year and Giles was off every single time so I presume this will be more a pamphlet rather than a full journal.

I saw the show six times that first year and he was on for five of them from what I recall. And the only principal cast member who was never off when I saw it was Rachelle Ann Go - I saw everyone else's understudies as well!

It is rude, and a conversation that really shouldn’t still be being had. I think he was off once when we went in the first year, or he may have already left and it was his replacement who was off. Either way we got to see Waylon Jacobs Burr which was great, as was his KG3. Fair enough if its a star vehicle but this is a famed ensemble piece and everyone in that cast is as strong as each other or they wouldn’t be there.

Ignore the haters with no sense of humour Stuart. Theres no hatred thanks. “Oh I’m sorry I had tonsillitis the day you came...oh I’m sorry my friend was getting married the day you came...oh I’m sorry I had booked holiday eight months ago that corresponded with your visit.” There was no humour in the initial post, just criticism of real life, so wind your neck in

Re-opening is now pushed back from mid May until 23rd June as of today. A little annoying considering that I booked tickets for a date in May only last night!

I haven’t booked anything else yet as I’m too nervous to book things and then for them to get moved back again, especially with me living up north.

The performance schedule has changed now to include a Sunday matinee. The ticket prices have also risen since May dates disappeared. The £65 Dress Circle seats which we booked are now on sale at £75.

Whilst people love to point out ‘Hamilton’s flaws (and if the ensembles moves were as sloppy as they sound this is a massive wow moment stolen from the audience) you can’t berate a piece for not focussing on what you thought it was going to focus on, just to look a bit ‘woke’ and ‘now’.
“No I didn’t like Wuthering Heights either. I thought it was going to be set at the top of the Burj Khalifa, when its just some Yorkshire folk on relatively normal sized hills, and its named after a house”
“Yes, that’s like when I took our Don to see ‘Anything Goes’ expecting a saucy spectacle and got a load of dancing on a boat. He was asleep 3 songs in...”
If slavery isn’t as high profile as it could be in ‘Hamilton’ it’s because that’s not what it’s about. It is mentioned, but its not front and centre.
