Well there's some well know theatre performers in there who are very talented. I'm not sure what the issue is.
Why when a cast is announced and it's got some lesser known names in there is it met with derision and some kind of attitude they aren't gonna be good or the show is going to be worse? If every casting decision was a big well known name everyone wants then how would we ever get any new theatre stars emerging? You know, all the big stars started somewhere and got a big break that led them to how successful and well received they are now.

Booked for London last night as I’ve wanted to see Vanessa Williams on stage for years. And in a role similar to Wilhelmina, and getting to sing - I’ll be in heaven with the devil.

But like, Tosh as who? He's not gonna be Stanley Tucci and Andy's boyfriend is such a wet part like, what's the point? Unless they inexplicably give the boyfriend a song that allows riffing I simply don't see the point 😂

The prior tweet was regarding 'Slave Play' so maybe that's coming too. But Chichester is also being announced tomorrow, so he's got that on his mind no doubt... |

I’ve wanted to see Vanessa Williams on stage for years. Great character actor as Wilhelmina, stole so many scenes. And then hearing her sing Save The Best For Last on the end credits to the Priscilla movie, I said “Who is this? I need to find out who sings this.” And couldn’t believe it was the same person. She’s so talented.

I'd rather a different cast than most of the workshop folk but we'll see what happens.
