Reminds me of Glasgow last year when they had to call Renee Lamb in twice.

Maddison was in the wonderful Menier Bridges Of Madison County this year and was a real star.

On Wednesday Lauren Byrne was performing with her Country Music Trio - Remember Monday at a concert I went to so that would have been wgy she was off. Holly-Anne Hull who is also in the trio will be playing Christine in the upcoming Phantom Tour was also in the trio.

I saw this at the Lowry last night and really enjoyed it! Went in blind, having only heard the title song but thought it was a fun little show. Not sure which cast were on (looking at videos of the tour cast there were a few different faces) but they all gave briliant performances and there were some great vocals.

This show really is having such a positive effect on those regional venues. I remember speaking to an usher at the Theatre Royal Glasgow after watching it there, and she said it was the most popular show they had hosted in ages. For a theatre that is mainly programmed with opera and ballet with only the occasional musical it really had such a good effect there in terms of audience turnout.

Just seen on Twitter that someone pushed a gift on stage just before the megasix?! Can not believe people feel that is acceptable to do. It was a big gift bag and was given to Athena (parr) could see it shocked the cast and ruined the flow a little...

That did happen. I saw a clip of it and it looked really uncomfortable.
The culprit then put a statement out on the Six Facebook group saying that as it was a matinee they couldn’t give it to them at stage door.
...The stage door is open to the public, they can just.. y’know, go in and hand whatever they want to give in to the receptionist with a note.

That was my clip! And it completely broke the flow of the megasix for me. It was very jarring not to mention completely unnecessary, the Stage Door at the Lowry is lovely. A friend and I went in there to drop off a gift for the same people, who we were seeing at the same show. The stage door handler was kind enough to let us take our time and check everything was there and write a note. Not to mention it was handed to the correct people almost immediately.
Except for that, the tour is in BRILLIANT hands. Those girls have developed so much since the beginning and the alternates are incredibly strong as well. You cannot go wrong seeing this cast close to you. Think I prefer these Queens to the London Queens.

Trying to book a ticket for Salford and it keeps saying I can't leave an individual seat for purchase, despite it being the only seat available and all other surrounding seats are unavailable?

This whole giving gifts to working actors reminds me of the cupcake incident at Heathers last year.

15 minute show stop during Jodie Steele’s number at the Lowry tonight. Oh well, it broke up the monotony 🙂 Ooh, what happened? I was there this afternoon, no problems. My first time seeing the tour cast, and I thought they were excellent. I loved Lauren Drew and Shaka especially, but they were all excellent. And it was nice to see such a big theatre completely packed.

My first time seeing the tour cast, and I thought they were excellent. I loved Lauren Drew and Shaka especially, but they were all excellent. And it was nice to see such a big theatre completely packed. There was nothing obvious, the stage manager just walked on and stopped the number. Told us there was a tech problem and that they’d resume ASAP. As for the show, I’m probs the last person on here to see Six. I didn’t hate it, I give it 3 stars but I found it a bit samey, and there’s only really one killer song in it (Jane Seymour’s). I appreciated the energy of the girls, it’s quite a full-on performance, but I’m afraid too much of it descended into shrieking (I’m looking at one queen in particular) However I’m very clearly in the minority because every seat in the huge Lowry Lyric was sold out tonight and the rest of the audience seemed to like it very much. I might have said that I wasn’t the target demographic for this but the audience was actually very mixed age wise. I think it’s great that what started as a tiny Edinburgh Festival show is filling massive theatres and transferring to Broadway but it wasn’t really my thing.

After the Queens bow after "Six" I've found to be the time to start and literally two seconds after this bow before the megasix/encore Cleves tells you to "get your phones out, you're gonna wanna film this". Filming during the main show is prohibited though.

Is it okay to film with the phone flash? I don't want to incase it goes in their eyes, but without flash my camera is horrible

Not sure what I think about a show actively encouraging phone use during a show (it is actually in the script)...tend toward thinking it encourages bad behaviour but can see that in this digital age it gets the ‘word of mouth’ out there....what do others think? 🤔

I found pinky K Howard rather shrieky and shrill when she wasn't singing, and she was my least favourite yesterday. She still made me laugh, and I found her song more disturbingly creepy than Aimie Atkinson's version, which I suppose is a good thing. But yeah, preferred the other ladies. Overall, I think I enjoyed yesterday more than I enjoyed the west end cast (although I haven't seen the new cast there) - the dancing was a bit tighter, and it felt a bit funnier overall.
