Original cast are returning to this show 21-25 Feb for 6 shows only before broadway. Just found this out and booked for the matinee on the Saturday. Saw the play last year but felt quite ill during the performance so didn't get to fully enjoy it. Was looking for a reason to go again and here it is. |

Did anyone else catch the new tour cast having a pre-tour practice at the Duchess yesterday & the day before? I saw them last night. I thought they did pretty well considering it was only their 3rd show. Act 2 seemed a little shakier than Act 1 & there was a tendency to be a bit approximate with some lines but I'm sure once they get a few more shows done then they'll be fine. I particularly liked the Max (Alastair Kirton), Chris (Patrick Warner) & Trevor (Graeme Rooney - who looked vaguely familiar, think I've seen him in some small role on TV sometime).

I'm seeing Austentatious, which has the 7.30pm slot, for the sake of killing time, though I can't say I was madly keen when I saw it in September. I am trying not to think about what time LCI will finish & how knackered I'll be at work the following day. Thrilled that they're doing one last LCI before heading to Broadway but it would have been easier if it was 8pm at the Duchess like the 2015 ones! |

Thanks, I'd checked the plays social media but not mischief's. I've now booked, I loved the cast I saw but to have the chance to see the originals is something I didn't want to pass up! I thought that may have been the case, which was why I specified the Twitter account. I'm surprised it isn't being publicised on the main account: "Come & see the original cast. Last chance pre-Broadway." sort of thing. Which cast have you seen? Some of the box office staff don't seem that well informed about the show full stop, though some are good. When I went in to book for 25th February I requested the high numbers side of the front row so I could see Trevor's tech box & the chap didn't know what I was talking about & said he'd never seen the show. You would think Nimax would get box office staff to see whatever's on in a theatre at that time so they can sell it to potential ticket purchasers, or failing that at least show them round the auditorium & set so they can advise on views from seats. |

Did anyone else go to Lights! Camera! Improvise! at Wilton's tonight? I did & loved it. I've missed the show over the last 15 months but didn't realise quite how much until seeing it again. I now want someone to kidnap the cast, cancel Broadway & beg them to do L!C!I! on a weekly basis!!
It was the first time I'd been to Wilton's & thought it was very nice inside (though I was glad that they haven't kept the plumbing too Victorian!). Not too difficult to get to either. It was kind of odd seeing L!C!I! somewhere other than the Duchess & they used the bare minimum of props - I think there were 4 chairs, 2 hats & a piece of fabric - but they don't need them with such a company.

I should have asked beforehand if anyone else was coming, could have said hi. I guess with it being a one-off in that space they didn't have time to check how audible they were & the acoustics did seem quite echoey. As far as I know they never use mics for the show, or at least I haven't seen them do so & last night was the 11th I've seen. I quickly learnt that the best place to sit was the front row, so you can hear over all the audience laughter. |

Saw this at Newcastle Theatre Royal this week - very funny! I especially enjoyed the character of 'Charles', think we had an understudy on but he was very good! Great fun |

The lead unfortunately managed to get injured between the trial run at the Duchess & the first night in Bath so he could still be off. |

Caught this the other night and was actualllh underwhelmed. After hearing FANTASTIC things I didn't find it that funny. Okay it was funny but people around me were howling wetting themselves and I didn't reach that capacity at all, neither did the group I was with. 2nd half 100% better than first.
Never left at interval before but we were tempted to here. Standout performances from actors playing Sandra, Annie and Max. Not a lover of the Inspector - would've been good to have caught original cast and although it was good, wouldn't see it again and I'd place other shows above the other Mischief shows. Good luck to them though, they are very clever! Set was great
