'Popular' ends with Glinda striking a pose on those same suitcases in the picture!

They've also got loads of costumes out on display. Every audience member has been given a light up Wicked lanyard and there are Tulips in every single cupholder in the theatre which they've been told not to touch. Universal are going in hard. I would expect some new footage. Maybe a live performance. But I'm not sure how much of this will get released to the public as most Cinemacon footage remains exclusive the people attending.

Dillamond is Peter Dinklage Also if anyone’s wondering about puppetry or cgi this was posted by DiscussingFilm “There’s also a quick look at Doctor Dillamond, a CGI goat in fancy attire voiced by Peter Dinklage”

They may have only cast him recently. I don’t mind a fully-goat Dillamond. Fits the narrative. I just hope it looks “real”.

I have a lot of admiration for Peter Dinklage as an actor. I really do.
However I do find it interesting that Doctor Dillamond is a CGI'd character.
I wonder if, despite being CGI and a goat, as to whether you may still be able to 'see' Dinklage's features, like in Disney films where the actors features can be seen in the character.
The reason that I find it interesting is because (possibly I've gotten my wires crossed here) but I seem to recall John Chu stating that there's be no CGI, thus the hand planting of all of those tulips.

Any more news bobbievanhusen or anyone else? November can't come soon enough. I'll try and make it to the London premiere too like I did for Barbie...

When is the next trailer due? Depends on how many more trailers they plan to put out. A lot of movies only release 2 trailers so if that’s the plan then I wouldn’t expect another trailer until at least August or September. But if they plan to release 2 more trailers then we might get one fairly soon with a third closer to the release. Universal are putting out a Twisters movie in July and it would definitely feel like a missed opportunity to not put some kind of tie in trailer before that. “Before a twister took Dorothy to Oz..” etc etc

Ariana and Cynthia at the MET Gala last night, loving the witch-switch colours! I have no doubt that their press tour outfits will be incredible.

Any more news bobbievanhusen or anyone else? November can't come soon enough. I'll try and make it to the London premiere too like I did for Barbie... No news. Apart from the production team still finishing up 1 or 2 things, It's all about the post production now.
re Dr Dillamond, he was filmed using motion capture, and whilst that is part of CGI, he should be more human looking, rather than just a goat made by a computer. Unless Peter Dinklage has done motion capture over in the US, i'm not expecting Dillamond to look like him.
I wonder if the film will go out for test screenings before the release. Will be interesting to see.

An exercise in competition-level riffing. Pointless and terrible.

Check out @/sweatyoracle recent on tiktok… yikes! Does he always shout??
If people suspect they weren't singing live, why do the actors have earpieces in? Though they were so small i'm surprised you can see them on screen. Also, why would you go and see the Wicked movie if you didn't like the stage version? The additional audience they need is people who havent seen the stage version, wizard of oz fans and repeat visits from fans.
As long as they keep the extended dance sequence in the Govenors Mansion - the spinning bookcases and the ensemble dancing through them looked amazing.

What song is that for, NOMTW? Don't quote me on this, but i think it's leading up to the Ozdust Ballroom scene.
