Theyve said more 4.48 tickets are held back from public sale next Monday

If I had to guess what happened behind the scenes is that when you put in a request for a booking you are making an SQL database commit request and the default for when that fails for this is to clear it, hence why you'd go straight to an empty basket checkout.
When something like this happens usually there's an IT manager position opening to follow 😬

No queue for RSC supporter booking for the Stratford run this morning, and only a couple of performances showing as 'limited availability', so if anyone misses out on the Royal Court run, you should be able to book for Stratford when the general sale opens. BurlyBeaR, 4:48 Psychosis probably deserves a thread of its own?

RC have just emailed me a 15% discount code for all shows (bar 4.48) for public booking on Monday as they say I made a first return visit since 2021 this year.
I'm a friend, I was a friend in 2022 and I've booked loads since 2021 so a bit confused. As a friend, I'd like to have had that yesterday for sure! I've emailed them to check it out but for anyone doing public booking Monday - do check your email in case you also have a code waiting.

It was my first visit in quite some time when I saw Giant, I'm guessing I might get one too.

How does this membership business work for RCT?
For example, do they check the ID of the attendee or can I pay somebody with a membership to buy me a ticket for lets say Manhunt and 4.48 Psychosis? 🤔

Counted up 6 trips last year alone, feels like a bonus treat on the Court’s dime! Glad hadn’t bought my membership tickets yet.

RC had stopped doing cards so all I could do was login on my phone and show them my renewal date etc.
I can't think of tickets being checked at any membership I've ever had.

That's very good to know, thank you! Now just to find somebody willing to buy these for me (enquiring on behalf of a friend who is not on here, but still) 😆

A pretty disappointing response from RC, seemingly happy to miss the point
So buying a membership has ended up making my tickets more expensive....

Would people recommend the front row at the Royal Court, as have never sat there. It is very cheap for Manhunt.

I had very bad experience there for Bluets (and ended up getting a 50% refund). I had a partially obscured view there for Giant thanks to a kitchen table, but it was OK. The stage is not particularly high usually, these were both staging decisions. For both of those the front row was not as heavily discounted as it has been for Manhunt. So either the Court thinks that they have been overpricing the tickets, or they already know something worse than Bluets and Giant.
For the level of discount, I'm willing to take the risk for Manhunt, but acknowledge that it might be a slightly restricted view.

Thanks, appreciate - have gone for a front row pair for Manhunt. In case the website doesn’t work well for anyone for the public sale, these are also on TodayTix (likely a couple of pounds more than buying direct - but I have some credit to burn with them).

Thanks - having seen Giant from the circle I can see the table having been an issue. I’ve taken a chance based on the price for Manhunt being too good (perhaps for a reason!) but gone for off-centre in case that helps with sightlines a bit!

Tickets in my basket but impossible to checkout ... I have a feeling their queue system failed and let everyone in at once.

I haven't been in a ticket disaster this bad in a while. From what I can tell, if you checked out your tickets in the first couple of minutes you probably managed it, I haven't been able to get anything to go through across 35 minutes and am now seeing most tickets drop back into the seatplans presumably as everyone else is getting timed out. The RC Box office phone line is jammed.
