They don’t have to announce everything in one go If you look at the homepage for the show Why not sign up for the link “To be the first to hear about any future performances of Giant by Mark Rosenblatt” Have you not already seen it at the RC? Why the urgency for it to transfer I'm seeing it tonight. You had mentioned a transfer in your post last night so I thought something was said at the event last evening which would be relayed in the season announcement today, that's all. I understand At the moment it’s TBC but I was told “it will happen” Obviously cast availability is a major factor Particularly as Romola Garai can’t star in two plays at the same time

Glad to see Joel Tan's name here. I liked No Particular Order at the Theatre503 a couple of years ago. Scenes From A Reparation does sound like it's written in a similar way where a scene is not connected to the next (only connected on a thematic level).

I signed up for a subscription based on this season.
I don't mind admitting that I've become a little fascinated with David Byrne and have gone down a rabbit hole of reading interviews with him, things he's written, and watching clips of shows he's directed himself. I am a jaded senior, but he feels like a breath of new air. I hope the board and staff at the Court understand how fortunate they must be to have him. Within less than a year the place has gone from being in the doldrums to being the talk of the town.
Do theatres ever host events where you get to meet the artistic leadership and ask questions? Anyone here ever met him?

Yes patrons events All theatres do this and usually the AD does the presentation and there is Q&A and you can speak with them There are season launches, specific receptions and other ad hoc events

Actively fearing for tomorrow lol
Selling out in friend's booking will be crazy. Surely they'd have to add extra performances.

Worst booking experience in a long time. I had the ticket in my basket and now it has crashed seemingly

I get to the checkout and then it freezes and takes me back to the home page. Seconds away from getting on the phone!!

This might be the most frustrating booking experience I’ve ever encountered. Not knowing when the site will be up and running and taking you all the way to the checkout and then crashing each time means we just keep doing it over and over….

Tried booking on my iPhone just to make sure it wasn't that and get a Safari specific error page - as I'm using Google Chrome...

Didn't Royal Court have a queuing system previously?
It would appear it doesn't have one now, hence the crash.
It's weird though, as it just seems to crash at checkout.

Possibly was the case they weren't expecting the demand for the Friends pre-booking so the site has completely fallen over.
Tried adding tickets now but upon getting to checkout it says my basket is empty... awful!!

OKAY I think I figured it out. Do not go through the emergency booking page or whatever, go straight to the show's info page and book through there, they're still up and functional
Literally just got my tix. Make sure you're logged in but I got through comedically easy.
do you have a link for manhunt?

Yes, thanks so much -- worked for me. Also tried using a similar link for Scenes from a Repatriation, and that worked as well: royalcourttheatre.com/whats-on/scenes-from-a-repatriation/#book

With all this trouble people would be thinking we're booking for a Taylor Swift concert but no this is priority booking at the Royal Court 😂
There'll be no tickets left for general sale at all. So glad I got the membership literally days ago.

Nice guy on the phone sorted me out. That was wild! They'd better sort it out or public booking will be a complete nightmare.
