I’ll admit that I actually do like the concept of what they’re trying to do with the costumes, but I’ll agree that the execution is horrendous.

Seen a lot of this recently with terrible costume work. Post Covid has been the nadir of costume design in my lifetime. That looks absolutely terrible. Legally Blonde was even worse.

I wonder how big a name you have to be in order to have the privilege of saying “I’m not wearing THAT”. CHF obviously isn’t there yet because that costume is a monstrosity.

I am no costume designer - I saw Legally Blonde 3 times! - but those costumes are truly awful.

I was listening to the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack (as one does) and does this not sound almost identical to the opening song of the concert??? [listen from about 0:20 to 0:30]. The 'when will I see you again, my love? When will I see you again?' melody?? I can't find any footage of it because it's not one of the songs they've recorded so I can't check, but I know it's familiar from somewhere and I'm fairly certain this is where.

So this is going to tour? How well do we think this new show will sell outside London? Last few productions I’ve seen at my local theatre have struggled to sell and unlike London there’s little to no discounts unless you sign up for a five show deal or similar.

Joe McFadden playing the King in the tour according to WOS - somehow this entire production managed to pass me by in the last couple of years and I have to say what better accompniment to some hung, drawing and quartering could there be than original folk and pop songs.
...its not much of a tour for a full production either.

I realise London is expensive but top ticket price on their tour is 45 GBP and tickets aren’t exactly sold out - so Palladium is more than double …
