Hi! Did anyone get lucky in the Friday Forty this week? Has anyone (on the board), ever been successful on Friday 40? I won right at the beginning of the run, and my sister managed to get through just last week. We just got back from seeing it again, this time from the front row. I really love this production, seeing the books that meant so much to me when I was younger brought to life and extended so competently on stage is a very emotional and very inspiring experience. Good luck to everyone still trying!

So, I'm seeing the show next Thursday. both parts in one day. What I don't understand is the weird performance schedule next week? Part One on Wednesday. Parts 1 & 2 on Thursday. Then Part Two on Friday. Can anyone shine some light on that?

Isn't it because it's the 1st of September when the train leaves for Hogwarts? Also that performances is the one that had the special sale through Pottermore, maybe they just wanted to do something special on that day?

I'm not sure how many tickets they were allocated, but they definitely had some. I was unsuccessfully in the queue and I think it took about an hour and a half for all the tickets they had to be sold.

Oh, how fun! Even more excited! Hope I've not got your hopes up too much and it's not just that it's full of massive Potter fans who got their tickets about a month ago.

No joy on the Friday Forty today. This is frustrating every week. But then if I really cared I would have got tickets for over a years time, which I didn't want to do. I'll be back again next Friday to try again.

They should wait until everyone actually is 19 years older, and the have them reprise their roles. Or at least those who are still alive by then. Obviously Snape can't be played by the original actor, and some of the older characters might be difficult too.

Oh is Snape in it? Yeah I agree they should wait 19 years at least. The ageing at the end of Deathly Hallows Part 2 is slightly bizarre (being kind).

God love her. She may sometimes seem like a bit of a sour faced old trout but you've got to hand it to JK Rowling, she's created a cash cow for herself and she ain't afraid to milk it.

They're gonna have to fork out a ton of money if they want those original actors back, can imagine they were very relieved to move on.

I'm so sorry about the spoiler. I didn't even think there was anything wrong with what I said at the time, but I realize now that it might give a bit away about the story, although not that much. My apologies

For the people who did read my unfortunate spoiler, you'll still be able to enjoy the play/script.

Yes, and I'm not sure what she did to warrant being called a sour-faced old trout either...? She looks to me like a perfectly normal woman who happens to have opinions and not be afraid to state them, that's all.

Absolutely, indeed she does. And quite right she does so too! Although it is a sad sign of the times and a bit of a shame that we see this as a positive attribute in someone when it should be taken for granted that she did anyway.

Sorry if this has been asked ages ago - I tried a quick skim and couldn't see it anywhere.
Does anyone know if they have/will publish cast holidays? I realise that with it being totally sold out there's not much I can do if my tickets fall on a weekend when lots of the leads are off, but I'd rather go forewarned!
