She's coming back for 16 days? What's the point, give it to your understudy! 😂

Does Mazz Murray finish in this soon or have I gotten that wrong?

I LOVED it! I’ve seen Chicago soooo many times and I still properly enjoy it every time! I thought Alexandra Burke was absolutely fantastic. I assumed it was stunt casting and wasn’t expecting her to be as good as she was. Her acting was fab, she was sassy and funny, gorgeous vocals, no runs, handled the choreography like a pro. She’s the 2nd best Roxie I’ve ever seen, I think only La Hateley has her pipped and not by much. Mazz Murray was brilliant! I just love her, Duncan James was pretty good too. Very enjoyable afternoon, and I even got a rose at the end!

Good Lord, that's like one of those maths questions. If I have 3 apples and then I bought 4 apples but I ate 2 apples and threw 1 apple away how many strawberries were left in the fridge and could I still make an apple crumble? That kind of thing.

And she threw me a rose at the end! I have a veritable bouquet of them now from various Roxie’s and Velmas over the years. I nearly always get one when I go front row! And they always survive the post show drunken pub crawls!

Any info on who’s going in after Burke for those last 8(?) weeks?

Is there a tour planned afterwards? For some reason an English-language version of Chicago has been scheduled here in Cologne next June and we've had the UK Tours of Cats and (soon) Miss Saigon rock up here as well. My first guess had been the US Tour, but that's still running over there when it opens here. Surely they won't keep the London cast around for a few months just to turn up here briefly in summer?

Any info on who’s going in after Burke for those last 8(?) weeks? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Denise Van Outen. With the new announcement of Josefina coming back, it wouldn’t surprise me if Denise took over from Alexandra as she’s played Roxie before and it’s not as much to take over?

Maybe Cheryl will close the show for the last 8 weeks?

‘Final weeks’ according to this tweet- it must be closing rather than transferring.

Todrick Hall to take over as Billy Flynn.
Any word on Roxie replacement? Or will Sarah come back as she did those days when Alex was off in October?

Todrick Hall will certainly attract a different crowd - and he is a performer of considerable talent.

IS Toddrick Hall well known in the UK?
I hope to see the show in December- if I'll get a discount on my tickets...

Todrick Hall has a very loyal online following - and has brought his own shows over here in the past. His appearances on Drag Race have upped his profile as well

Oh wow! Love Todrick, and he has a huge online presence so I imagine his casting can only do the show some help. Thrilled to hear!

He sold out the Palladium when he did a show there earlier this year so he should bring in some people!

Todrick has done Kinky Boots and Chicago on Broadway to pretty good reviews so, at least he will be better then most of the stunt casting the show sees.
