Cheers TallPaul...I've already booked for the other one. I love The Storyhouse.

This is one of my all time favourite books. I hope they don't murder it.

Cast announced- would say this has strong plans for a transfer based on it.

Cast announced- would say this has strong plans for a transfer based on it. Think you might be on to something given the Storyhouse website says: "FROM 30 SEPTEMBER 2022 FOR TWO-WEEK SEASON AHEAD OF WEST END TRANSFER"

I’m not familiar with the book, film or TV series of this, but booked ages ago as I don’t live very far from Storyhouse and try to see most of their own in-house productions if I can. Just got a lot more interested in seeing it off the back of that casting announcement. Quite like the new artwork too.

I saw this last night and enjoyed it far more than I expected. The songs are pretty good, though not particularly memorable. The highlight for me was the Act 2 opening where he's describing how it feels like when travelling in time, which had some brilliant choreography and projections similar to the Back to the Future finale. The set is relatively simple, a double revolve which has a single wall in the middle of it and is actually a video screen which along with another giant screen on the back wall, makes extensive use of projections to create the different scenes. To me, it had a very similar feel to Ghost especially with some of the illusions. It's a pretty good show and they have obviously spent a bit on the staging with an eye to a West End transfer.

No doubt they'll ableist cast Henry.

No doubt they'll ableist cast Henry. I don’t remember him being disabled in the book…

Don't you just hate it when they cast living actors to play the dead students at the end of Les Mis?
There are plenty of available dead actors out there who could play the roles just as well, if not better.

It’s been a few months since I saw this, but I don’t think that spoiler is in the show.

Where do we think this will go? Haymarket? OFAH doesn't show any sign of closing. My guess is either Apollo, Phoenix or @sohoplace.

Apollo after Showman might be a bit soon but makes a lot of sense. It has been a musical house as well.
