It's all about Heidi for me!

I thought Sherry's runway was great. I don't see the point in re-editing him, what he did has nothing to do with his talent level or how he performed on the show. Is he actually being charged with anything? Can he be charged for what he did?

I like Crystal, but he needs to step it up.

That being said it was a terrible Ep. That challenge was utterly dreadful and possibly the worst lip-synch in the shows history. They should've both been sent home!

Not condoning it one tiny bit, but what Sherry did is being done by thousands of people on apps all the time. And no, that doesn’t mean it’s right but you can count on the virtue signalling masses to get their panties in a bunch.

I definitely agree to a certain extent...but...

They seem to be making a lot of the sexual nature of what he did, but I think it is more the other side of things that affected the people involved more. Being promised work/a career etc probably had a much bigger psychological impact on them than the pics/videos. He was manipulating them into doing degrading sexual stuff for work, that's a little different than someone pretending to be hot using someone else's pics to get a dick pic on an app. This is their livelihood he was playing with on top of everything else. If he is doing this kinda stuff, frankly what else has he been up to that he hasn't been nailed for...

That being said...why would anyone do what they did for a job? Surely if someone is asking to see you to jack off they are someone you DON'T want to work for?
Or were they auditioning for porn roles, in which case you kinda get what you're asking for. do you not?

Agree re Willam (I doubt that has much to do with Alaska, it doesn't seem like him at all he is classier than that) and his weekly trans rant is annoying as hell!

Sherry manipulated people into being his friend and then convinced them that they were getting auditions for theatre and television with people like HBO via a fake person that he was actually in control of. These people were desperate actors who were probably struggling financially and who obviously trusted Sherry and production companies like HBO have a bit of notoriety when it comes to risqué programming so I don't think it's that far-fetched to believe that they would be willing to send in audition tapes of a sexual nature to get what they thought was going to be their big break. Maybe they were gullible or naïve or stupid even but that doesn't mean they deserve what they did and it doesn't make Sherry any less of a bad person for manipulating these people of which there were possibly upwards of 20 (so obviously it must have been a convincing pitch. These people were taken advantage of and I don't think it's fair to let her off because they were maybe more susceptible to it (if anything that makes it worse because she probably actively targeted them). And just because other people catfish people doesn't suddenly make what she did any less worse? I don't think anyone exactly thinks well of catfish (catfishers?)

Then he needs to be charged with something and punished accordingly, but it still really doesn't have anything to do with the show. In fact he is better left on full display to see if he uses the same kind of manipulations there as well.

Honestly the kind of people who do these things usually do it for attention, positive or negative (see Trump) they love it all. So the more attention people give them the more they get off on it. The problem is I don't know if there is actually anything you can charge them with other than fraud and I don't know if the case would be strong enough.

These people are extremely damaging to society, but he has been outed so at least people know in the future to steer clear.

Well i think that elimination was outrageous. No way was she the worst tonight and has been consistent over the episodes. Unlike the person who should have obviously gone home and yet wasn't even in the bottom two!

Don't agree, the one who 'should've gone home' is clearly being edited as the villain of the season and everyone was saying stuff that they didn't even have cutaways of to back up. Jaida's last look was every bit as simple as his was, she just had the fashion sense to make it into something better. Though his looks were all pretty basic, they were still far better than both in the bottom 2 who were dreadful. At least his first look was great, the other were bad for all 3 looks.

I do however think the wrong person went home, it should've been the other one, but the one who went clearly didn't know the lyrics of the song which is probably what got him sent packing. It is a shame though as I did like him a lot, but hey someone has to go every week and we are only on the 2nd week of eliminations. 

It's the same every season, we all know who the top 5 are going to be pretty early on, it's just watching the others be picked off one by one until sh*t gets real.

Thankful that Aiden Zhane went last week. Basic! And this week Brita was the next obvious one to leave. She promised a lot but failed to deliver. Beware bigging yourself up and going on about how celebrated you are! 

I really like Heidi but think she might be in trouble because the others seem so much more polished. Gigi Goode must be strong contender for the win, I didn’t expect her to be so good with the challenges. Crystal seems to be coming into her own too?

Agree about Aiden - I did quite like her, but her final week was dreadful. Even Patricia Quinn has slated her performance on Snatch Game, I doubt they’ll be having lunch again anytime soon.

But what a great episode this was - I loved the Madonna Rusical, unlike a lot of the acting challeges lately this one was entertaining and very funny.

Jan (simply... Jan) was great and although she clearly thought she’d won, Gigi definitely pulled off a more complex routine and embodied Madonna more.

For a moment I did think Heidi would go as Brita was putting a lot more into the lip-synch, I’m glad the right girl stayed though.

Well the Madonna Rusical was fantastically epic!!

I was pretty cynical when I heard what it would be but I was really blown away by the girls, choreography and the musical. Honestly, for me, I’d put it up there as one of the best moments in the whole history of ru Paul!! And Gigi Goode was SPECTACULAR as her Madonna! Surely she has won the series by now, she is something else

Me and the bf weren’t massive fans of this season but this has sparked our attention again. And how!!

I like Gigi and she will probably win but my fave is Jan. I honestly thought she'd be completely basic based on her meet the queens video but she's surprised me no end and i really really like her. I think she comes out with one of the top look every week, is always there or there abouts in the challenges and just has a really good personality.

That said Gigi has definitely surprised me as well, based on the meet the queens she seemed like a look queen with a fairly bland personality and like she wouldn't be able to do anything else but she's certainly proven that assumption wrong, she's an extremely good all rounder.

In any other year, she would have been a front runner.

I suspect it is between her and Jackie for Miss Congeniality.

Gigi is good but I would expect little else from the daughter of Detox (and the child of a pro costume designer)

I am so over Widow and Heidi. Neither of them are offering the polish I like.

Heidi is almost certainly Miss Congeniality, she's a fan favourite.

I don't use Instagram and so I suppose that's true but Instagram is also based entirely around looks so I'm never going to argue that Heidi has the best fashion (though theres also an element of racism there considering the low numbers of Instagram followers of many black queen's). Just going off the subreddit I see a lot of love for Heidi and she's pretty much the meme queen of the season. Then again Miss Congeniality is voted for by the queen's themselves now right (or has that stopped being a thing)? So it's hard to say who will get it since we don't see everything behind the scenes.

I cannot stand Jan!

There is no denying she is talented, but she is so fake and dislikable I can't bear to look at her.

Her and Widow are the only 2 left that I don't like.

Love GiGi and she is the clear winner by a mile. LOVE Heidi but she isn't going to win. LOVE Crystal and hope she keeps improving!

They would be my dream Top 3.

Jada is also great and could be a dark horse! Jackie has grown on me a lot more, though clearly it's her time to go soon.

Pity Sherry is what she is, as she has done fantastic in the competition.

I wish Crystal would've won this episode but I wasn't mad about Heidi winning either. And unless I'm misinterpreting peoples' displeasure with the judging that I've seen then with Jan I'm just not sure what everyone's seeing that I'm not? The bottom 2 was entirely correct this episode in my eyes. Jan wasn't funny and her video just screamed of desperation. I felt like I could see her shaking from how much effort she was putting in and it was not cute and didn't match the tone of the advert whatsoever. Her lip sync was similar - lots of manic movement to try and get attention but it wasn't clean and looked more like panic to stay in. I didn't dislike Jan and she performed well earlier on and didn't deserve to coast as unnoticed as she was but this episode was not her episode and she deserved to go home.

Judging was spot on.

Jan's video was terrible and her lip-synch was one of the worst I've ever seen in the entire run of the show. She looked like a spider with epilepsy.

I agree with Juicy, as much as I disliked her she was actually good the first couple of weeks so I could stomach her.

But she got in her narcisstistic head and destroyed herself week after week.

I'd have been happy with Crystal or Heidi winning this week, they were both fab and I love them both.

Jada was also very good.

I can see Widow and Jackie being the next couple to go.

Add Gigi and I think that'll be the Top 4 with Cherry out of the race.

Gigi was every bit as poor as Jan in her advert.

Widow was by far the weakest. Abd her runways are always on the weaker side.

I have liked Jan from the start. It is a shame to see her go when there are less polished performers still there.

Crystal is the most improved by far.

Not true. They pick out every single element of the commercial themselves, the backgrounds, the camera shots, the music and give the editor a 'paper' edit that they have to follow to the letter. The commercial IS theirs. There is only one way you can edit something when given those kinds of direct instructions apart from polishing it to make it look more professional, adjusting music/adding effects etc. 

GiGi's ad script was hilarious, but her performance let it down and frankly that was down to the nobody they had directing them.

I think they'd have all done better with a better director.

Jan was told to dial it down, she didn't and then there was the dialled up to 15 lip-synch monstrosity.

It was her time to go, we'd seen everything she had to offer and she didn't make the grade.

It's not High School Musical, it's Rupaul's Drag Race.

What have we seen from Widow? Very little that sticks in the mind (other than some very raggedy outfits)

I also don't get the love for Jaida - yes, she has a flawless body and some very expensive gowns. But essentially she is a pageant queen who can do a bit of comedy. I don't think she is that special.

Jan is, I guess, the Cheryl Hole of this season. Eager to please. Not as consistent as she could be. But still likeable. Yes, this week's 'No, I am really just upset about Brita' was fake. But then nearly all of them have been fake at some point over the season thus far.

I do understand her frustration at constantly being 'safe' - you don't get the feedback that the tops and bottoms get and that makes it hard to judge what you need to do to get noticed. Jan went for trying harder to be noticed - which almost got her to the top in the Rusical and then she fell foul of one of the harder challenges that they face. The product/branding challenges are never going to suit everyone. It allowed Crystal and Heidi to shine - rather unexpectedly in both cases - but it really did for Widow who was just lost throughout it.

Had we not had the Sherry issue, then I suspect the editing of the season would have been very different and we wouldn't have seen so much of the rise of Gigi as they could have balanced things with Sherry doing consistently well and thus making the whole competition feel more open. The producers had to do the reworking - that was only right and proper - but I would have loved to have seen the original storylining - just to see how they intended to make the dynamics work.

Jan never stood out apart from her first Ep, she was always beige.

If Brita hadn't of been there she would've for sure been every bit as annoying as Brita turned out to be. I have found her fake from the moment she walked in the room, no one is ever that happy 24/7 unless they're on happy pills...Cheryl at least had a personality and was genuine.

I don't get the Widow love either. She was great the first week, but other than that she's just been a mouthy, boring, wet blanket. She reminds me of Vinegar Strokes from the UK version. Her make-up sux too lol I suspect she will go next.

Jackie is coaxing as well, she's good but not great, though he seems like a nice guy.

I don't really agree with editing Sherry out. I mean her career is over anyway so why bother. They should've just disqualified her and left the show as it was as clearly it has just made the whole thing weirder. They've made her more noticeable by the fact that she's constantly not there and then nails the runway every week.
