Plus she is a household name as well as a MT legend.
I think we should contact the producers and tell them who we want. We could spare them a lot of effort.

Fully agree with Barnaby (and others) - would love to see Bonnie in such an iconic role. And I guess/hope she'd still have box office appeal. As for an American, oh yes, Jane Krakowksi but can't see her coming over for this sadly.

I’d be perfectly happy for them to cut it back to the Paige/Lupone ‘shuffle to the back in the energetic numbers’ scenario to see her do this. I think it would be inspired & financially prudent casting.

On the subject of Bonnie, she is doing 2 shows in January at Crazy Coqs. Just went to book and they are both sold out.
Shows she can still pull in the punters.
