Wow I can’t believe they recorded this.
Never have a cast worked so hard for so little pay off.
Poor Helen Anker.
At least she and Susannah Fellows rise above the material.
It was never actually called Zelda when it played originally though ?

I saw it at the Yvonne Arnaud and it was pretty hard going. The highlight was when they somehow managed to break a tray of wineglasses, and the ensemble had to try to clean up the mess during a big tap number.
That's literally all I remember about it, other than not really caring for the characters, the subject matter, the script or the songs.

I thought it was pretty good on the whole, but with some flaky parts that made it feel as though it was trying a little too hard to impress.
