So, what time have people been assigned to get there? I’m apparently supposed to arrive at the Basement via the Stage Door at 6.30, but whether I do show up that early or not will depend what the preshow entertainment element is. Apparently it's going to be heavily themed and immersive, though I wonder how much is for them to manage the food on the passe...

I’ve booked the first matinee and been advised to arrive at 13:15 for 14:30 (I’m in the upper circle)

Missed the email, and therefore only got in at about 3pm. I have managed to get Row L in the Dress Circle rear of the stage, so I can lean forward a bit if I need to.
Paid £75 for Sat eve 27th. November, without the extra food and drink which I don't think will be worth it. Insured the ticket as well, just in case ...

At the end of the day, it's Show Business with the emphasis on the Business. If people are willing to pay top dollar then we'll always see prices increase.
I've booked for Cabaret and honestly can't wait.

Hope all bookers read the extra covid rules ATG listed on the site before booking. Looks like there will be some unexpected pre-show immersion with "show us your papers" even before you get in. It maybe due to this performance being more up close but wonder if they will start the same for all the bookings on shows carried over from before covid cancellation. I think most people would not be expecting to still prove eligibility of access by November and into 2022 so if the rules are in-acted could be a surprise to people at the door and the no refund clause if your papers are not in orders makes an expensive issue

If I paid that price and either one of the stars didn’t show up for ANY performance I would be bloody foomin’ (bbs). Get your arse on stage. It’s not exactly a hard sing is it. Especially for him.
and please don’t @ me with the “you’re paying for the show not the actors” routine. Look at the prices! It’s ridiculous and I totally agree with @kevinuk about what constitutes event theatre. This, in my opinion, is not it.
Now, get Liza to play Frau Schneider and we might be talking…

Right now tickets are on sale to March 5. I assume it will extend past that as it selling so well, but I wonder if Jesse and Eddie will extend with it or if they’ll replace the two lead actors? Mr. b… Do you have any idea?

Bagged some decent seats in the stalls. This will be the hot ticket of the year. I’m also hoping with such a big sparkly revival we will also get a fresh studio cast recording with it too.

What do we reckon, back of dress circle or front of upper circle for slightly cheaper? Edit: went with upper circle in the end, £40 cheaper is too much to pass up. Pretty sure I've been in the upper circle there before and it's not that bad so I'll suffer it for the cheaper tickets.

It doesn't take much to read the rules, your problem if you don't. It appears to be too much for some people to expect anyone to take personal responsibility for themselves in any way nowadays, judging by the number of anti-lockdown protesters who appear to be incapable of doing any reading for themselves!

I didn’t pay extra for ticket protection, but surely if they cancel the show- we are eligible for a refund or a rebooking anyway?

The ticket protection is meant to cover if your circumstances change and you cannot make the show due to travel delays or illness but normally the terms are so restrictive and precise for any claims that's it's unlikely you would get a payback. Unless any board members have been successfully in such claims. As you say if they cancel they will refund or exchange.

Read those Covid conditions carefully and go prepared. After all, what good is sitting alone in your room?

yet more f*ckery. Lets hope this gets defeated in the Commons and Lords...

I wonder if this production will use 'Why Should I wake Up'? It was cut in the Sam Mendes productions.
I really like the song and hope it's included. It's seems odd that Cliff only gets 1 verse in Perfectly Marvelous and a few lines at the end, without it. Also, I think It should be moved to Act 1, after Perfectly Marvelous, as a 'morning after' song once Sally moves in.
A friend and I disagree on this, he thinks it's dull and slows down the show.

Lets hope this gets defeated in the Commons and Lords... Considering it isn't being introduced because it's a legal requirement, it's difficult to see what they could do about it.

So, between pre-sale and today I’ve had nearly £50 of ATG vouchers from other cancellations so I thought I’d better book a second trip. Got rear stalls for £50 on a Friday evening late in the current run. Hope I like it the first time I see it!
