Some mid-week matinee tickets released on TodayTix for £55.
No good for me but might be handy for someone!
I wonder if it is a sign that the new cast can’t sustain current pricing.

I dread to think what sort of price Eddie R will attract for Broadway. If the producers are wise they won’t be putting JB’s name above the title.

I wouldn’t put money on it. Literally!
If they’ve any sense they’ll split her schedule, give her the matinees and one evening off and allow someone else the opportunity to shine.
And what about the Kit Kat Club, can this production fly in the same way as it’s doing here without that artifice?

They’ll have to surely? As you’ve said above, with Broadway’s above the title rules, surely only Eddie’s name can go there, with Jessie on a rotating schedule with an alternate?

I had a £30 ticket for last night, Row B Upper Circle. OMG I had to leave, got to my seat after slowly going down the steep steps. Annoyed everyone by them having to come out to let me get in. Turned around and just couldn’t cope with the height of it. I know many are fine with this but I actually had what can only be described as a panic attack. It’s never happened before. I would say if you have vertigo or like me suddenly worried about the height, then think twice about the cheap UC seats

I would say if you have vertigo or like me suddenly worried about the height, then think twice about the cheap UC seats My first time I nearly had a panic attack before even getting to the upper circle. The bar/performance area in the normal lobby was packed and I couldn’t work out how to find the upper circle. It felt like it was getting busier and busier. By the time I got to my seat I didn’t want to move again so glad I coped with the steep height.

Turned around and just couldn’t cope with the height of it. I hate seats like that! While standing, I always feel I'm going to tilt forward and tumble all the way down. Especially trying to edge past people!

Especially trying to edge past people! It’s exactly how I felt. The 4 people on the end of the row all moved out to let me in and I felt so bad as as soon as they went back to their seats I freaked and needed to get out, so they all had to get up again. I have been perfectly fine in DC but UC is not for me

Any Rumored new casting? I'd imagine the producers would want to announce whomever is taking over for Fra and Amy as I think they're only in the show for the next month. Plus, with tourist season fast approaching thinking some Star casting might help fill some of the expensive seats in the KitKat Club.
Also, wasn't Jesse out a lot because she was campaigning for the Oscar for "The Lost Daughter'?

We don’t know because the producers chose not to tell paying customers why one of the the named stars wasn’t on. I think many have concluded that her voice wasn’t up to 8 shows a week, especially with the particular style of screeching singing required for some of the songs.

She probably won't do any more musicals. Producers tend to be weary of performers who miss performances regularly.
After the My Fair Lady fiasco Cameron Mackintosh stated that he would never employ Martine McCutcheon again and dropped his offer for her to star in Mary Poppins.
Amber Riley hasn't do any more musicals since Dreamgirls, and plans for the show transferring to Broadway with her were also dropped.

I haven’t. I said “many have concluded” not “I” have concluded. But, seeing as you raise the matter, I do think she can’t sing it 8 shows a week. Do you think she can? What is your evidence for that? The evidence for my point of view is that she consistently called out.
