Lucky timing for me I guess, got in after a 2 minute queue. Eye watering prices so I’ve gone for front row of upper circle for £40. I note it’s less rows so hopefully good enough sight lines. As much as I’d love to treat myself to a better seat I’ve resisted!

Gourmet Meal?
Have they built a kitchen as part of the reconfiguration then? Or are they buying in lots of pre-prepared meals from a caterer which they’ll plate up and serve with a flourish? Also, will this be german cuisine? I think we need answers…

Pre-pandemic I’d have booked this. But now? Not at those prices, not in that theatre and not at the start of winter. I’ll wait for offers if there are any, but I fear my days of spending a week’s wage on a pair of tickets is long gone. The prices are nuts. For the first time ever I bought the ticket insurance. Anybody wanting a box for four? It'll cost you £1000. Yes, one thousand pounds.

Yike. I got through okay, got a single seat in Row E for £90, which I don't find too outrageous for a show with such star power.

I'm in now and have my tickets - the queue moved much quicker than the estimated wait time.

I got 2 just off centre, row e stalls, I got a seat directly next to the £140 ones, so I'm happy I saved £50 per ticket. Now do we thing think there will be a rake on the actual stalls seats so you can see above those at the tables?

Took out the insurance just in case things spiral out of control again with covid.

That moved quite quickly and have got 2 dress circle seats for 16th November which is also my birthday. My friend and I decided we would have a maximum spend of £80 a ticket and with the booking fee added in just scraped in.

Stalls, E22 and E23 here, for a Saturday evening performance in February. We also got the ticket protection, just in case... The total was £189.
